Arbroath are on the verge of getting promoted to the Scottish Premiership and I PRAY that they do! How unique and how cool would it be for Scottish football to see a club like Arbroath in our top division. They have a stadium seating capacity of 861 with a further 5,800 standing. A proper old fashioned football stadium, a throwback, which you barely see in today’s modern game!
Japan has a population of just under 126 MILLION people. 7 months ago Kyogo Furuhashi was the star of their Premier football division. The whole country knew who he was and a good portion of the country probably took an interest in him every week.
Next season that same star man of one of the biggest countries on the planet could be playing his football at Arbroath’s Gayfield Park. Not just Kyogo, but Reo Hatate and Daizen Maeda too!
Just stop and think about that for a second. The THREE BEST PLAYERS in Japan, who will have a MASSIVE following in Japan, could be playing at a tiny stadium in Scotland.
Not just our Japanese stars but all the other international talents too! Jota 🇵🇹 if he signs permanently, a HUGELY exciting talent from Benfica/Portugal who would cost £6.5 MILLION who will one day reach the top.
Liel Abada 🇮🇱 The crown jewel of Israeli football, a nation of just under 10 million people! Who cost a record £3.5M.
Josip Juranović 🇭🇷 who is the first choice right-back for Croatia’s national side and is already being linked with a massive eight-figure move to the Premier League, could be playing at Gayfield Park against Arbroath!
All these international stars who have a following from all over the world, and will go on to the very top of the game. We can say that they played at Gayfield Park in Arbroath! HOW COOL IS THAT?!

This was a very good result for Hibs and would be for every prem team apart from the Old firm. Arbroath are doing extremely well and massively overachieving so to go and put in a good shift on their turf is a good result
