Lone Gaze is arguably a very inconvenient boss to showcase M+ Reinier improvementt in damage😅
Alpha Bear tomorrow should have been a better showcase.
But for my personal experience. I was ranking in the mid 20s in Dreamrealm. M+ Reinier pushed me into 15-20 right after I unlocked him. After I hit the season resonance softcap at 500 in dreamrealm I started to hit top 10(though some people probably also quit in the meantime).
Funny enough Lone Gaze is my shittiest ranking, simply due to the new Phraesto and Talene meta, which I just don't have built. Still working on Scarlita😅

I’m so glad for the formation copying, even if i don’t have all the units I can just swap out the cel/hypo for something else and have great results. Sometimes jumping from rank 70 before, to 30.
Edit: for lone gaze, I sometimes am forced to swap to haste artifact to improve Koko uptime instead of using evocation/spirit bomb

Super important. I went from 140-150 in dream to 70-80 and started making top 400-500 in district.

Nope, it's just a bad boss for this showcase. First of all the wolf has 3 phases where he has high dodge chance, so I would say the extra damage does not get full effect. Secondly the boss nukes down the backmost unit and if he kills something, the fight is pretty much over because he gains a stat boost when he does that. So the damage reduction that reinier provides does close to nothing if he target is not the back most unit. For this boss the backmost unit is usually Reinier, so Ideally you would have Thoran linked to Rainier so that he can survive the damage.

M+ Reinier as first cele\hypo in no longer valid. Check teams ranking first at all bosses
Wolf - Scarlita , Phraesto
Bear - Phraesto
Skyclops - Scarlita, Talene, Phraesto
Toad - Talene, Phraesto, Reinier
Dragon - Reinier
Yeti - Scarlita, Reinier
So Reinier is used on 3 out of 6 bosses... Looks like Dream realm meta has evolved past "Reineier first no discussions"

Unless you can pull a S+ Phraesto out your ass Reinier is still the go to.
Reinier isnt the end all be all when you have Scarlita, Taleene and Phraesto at S+ but unless you have all three at S+ Reinier is still best in slot in every single Dream Realm boss except Wolf.

Watching this makes me think M+ Reinier not worth it especially If you don't care that much about dream realm rankings.
