Greetings. I like your approach on tasks, honest and brutal engineering where needed. So, generator in the back is powering funfair or tivoli? My girlfriend bought single cab on chassis as her first own car two weeks ago. Its got full finnish sauna setup on the back and resting room. Its 92 but with turboed bananas. Goes well but surely needs a service and care. Tell me, how was fan situation resolved?
Hi, sometimes brutal engineering is required, if a plastic cover isnt needed, and it wont come off, smash it 😅 Yes, the generator is now powering the funfair equipment i have, i have missed a lot of opportunities to record more footage, because i was in a real rush to finish the generator once all the parts had arrived, i literally had a day to get it going, then it was out working Aww cool, your girlfriend has a transit single cab? I drove a single cab of my friends once, it was ok, it just seemed really strange having that back window so close, after being used to a double cab Its easy to service the transit van engines, you can remove the filters with no tools if your strong enough to grip the oil filter by hand I dont have the blue transit anymore, the UK weather got the better of it, and it rusted beyond economical repair, so it failed its mot badly, and was cheaper to buy a mk6 which was already running, so i did that The mk6 is ok, its a work tool, but I hate the mk6 for one reason, its painfully slow, my mk5 used to pull a full load, with a trailer, uphill in 5th gear, and carry on accelerating, the mk6 couldnt pull a rug out from under a sofa
@@Nelsonsridesandattractions Thats sad. But time does its job, i suppose it might be faster in British weather. Rear window situation is interesting indeed. So is seat heating and lumbar support. I'll be ripping it apart (for her) soon - belts, some seals, valve adjustments and such. Frame needs attention too. We'll do our best, under the sky, because summer here is short and there isnt any option to get it in. I did get confused about timing tensioner. Wich is right for turbo banana?
@@eeee3279 both are the correct tensioner, there just a different tightening technique used for each, due to there slightly different design The tensioner with an arm on it, is thr original ford designed tensioner, the circular one with the allen wrench hole in it, is the new style, or aftermarket style tensioner, so both will work perfectly well, with either the turbo or non turbo engines
@@Nelsonsridesandattractions Thanks mate. Keep on filming and posting. By the way, grab one of Plastic Maggots, the Honda CX500s, UK should have a lot. Before they are all cutted into ugly cafes and scramblers. Highway clears head and surely it needs wrenching too.
@@eeee3279 motorbikes don't really do anything for me, I'm more of a functional vehicle person, i do have a 110cc pit bike, but i very rarely ride it, there illegal to drive on the roads in the uk, unless you go through the process of registering them, but theres not much point Most of my videos now will be of funfairs until next winter when i do some more maintenance work 🙂
