The scorpion used was humanely harvested and sent to me by one of my subscribers. She's a bug collector and thought it would be cool to see a scorpion encapsulated in acrylic.
The scorpion was not harmed in any way nor was it killed for the sake of nail art.

For everyone asking how I removed these nails, I always wear nail guards on my natural nails and under the acrylic so when I’m ready to take them off I can just pop off the nails without damaging my natural nails. I can also reuse the nails if I ever want to wear them again. I wouldn’t dare soak or file off this particular set of nails.

Do the nail guards interfere with longevity? Or could they handle some wear and tear?
I always lightly buff my natural nails and that helps to keep them on longer. The nails do pop off sometimes but I just glue them back on.
I have no idea why I like to watch nail videos, I'm a dude and I have short ass nails, but goddamn! you put a whole goddamn scorpion in your goddamn nail! THATS AWESOME

Hyosomoo scorpions aren't classified as an insect, it is actually an arachnida and is a cousin to the spider which is also not an insect. Insects or "bugs" have 6 legs while an arachnida has 8.

People own scorpions as pets and believe it or not, some of us care about all animals. Hiring an exterminator because they’re a health and safety problem vs taking a scorpion and killing it to do some nails when it’s not bothering you is totally different.
