- 2022年5月31日に上野動物園に生まれた「スモモ」ちゃんは、母親の「モモコ」が病気のために、生後3日目から人工哺育になり、モモコの病気が改善したことから、今月群れに戻って来ることができました。

I'm so glad Sumomo has her sister Komomo taking such amazing care of her. Lol the whole family is fighting over who gets to hold baby Sumomo lol. Haoko and Riki are completely out numbered by the women in their family 😆😆😆. Sorry Haoko baby is off limits when she's with big sister! Poor guy just wants to see his baby lol!
I have also seen baby eat food when she gets hands on..she looks strong and healthy.. she is probably just tired because of everyone wanting to hold her and so she's not getting the sleep she was used to in the nursery.. just a thought..

Yes she does. I hope she has his energy. He was a tough lil dude. He covered that ground and checked in all day! I miss those days, especially the kidnapping. I think after a while Kin started being an accomplice instead of a hostage. 😆Sometimes it appeared the Go man need rescue.

Would ya just look at those cute little baby gorilla feet and curled up toes 😘. 6:10 Toto comes to see the baby. 🥴 7:30 Haoko: Dang! I can't even see my own baby. 🤣 Eh...sorry Haoko. Your chances of seeing your baby are decreased to around 0% when Komomo is holding the baby 🤭.

Who nurse's this baby girl? She needs to start to walk and climb...She's going to be 1 year old soon. I hope she can stay strong she already seems to be lethargic. Her little nose is dry as well. 😮
Sumomo is being bottle fed, regularly. She’d done a lot of climbing and walking, and now learning to cling well and crawl up sibling‘s backs and heads! She’s a sturdy little squirt. And it’s probably okay that she gets held more right now, during this important time of bonding.
She looks very strong, tall and friendly!
She looks way bigger then Kintaro her nephew at the same age and he was nursed by his momma Genki the entire time. I'm sure the staff is keeping an eye on the situation...I mean they did care for her during the first 10 months of her life so I doubt they'd stop checking on her now. They probably do health checks when she comes to drink her bottle. As someone else said...it's really important for her to continue to bond with her family bc they will teach her to be a gorilla.

Komomo can be an excellent foster mom for SUMOMO, she knows how to take care of her little sister very well.❤❤❤
She just needs to let her get on the ground and explore occasionally. Good care is not just about bear hugging.

Eu quero ver a Sumomo mais com a Momoko, ela criou vários filhos, é muito experiente, mas ela não consegue pegar, e quando consegue tiram dela, eu fico aflita com Riki é Momoka pegando a Sumomo, a Momoko é mãe, precisa ficar mais tempo com a Sumomo, ela pode revesar e ensinar para Komomo como cuidar de um bebê, é o sensato a se fazer❤❤❤❤❤❤

Tá vendo porque eu adoro ver Komomo cuidado de Sumomo? Komomo pega a irmãzinha com o maior cuidado, botando Sumomo na frente dela e abraça com jeito. Já Momoka é toda desmantelada pra cuidar de sumomo.... Komomo é maravilhosa com a irmã..,😘🥰🥰🍼🍼🍼

What is the relationship of Toto to the Haoko troupe?
Toto is Haoko’s longtime partner and more or less a stepmom to his offspring. Momoko is mother to Haoko’s children and the alpha female in the troop.🙂
A lovely day for The Star of the Hoeko family 👋👋👋😍🤗😘 . Is Momoko breastfeeding Sumomo ?? Or is zookeepers still bottle feeding her ? Her sisters and momma Momoko are giving her much love but keeping her Healthy is also crucial . I don't see her breastfeeding and her baby teeth can't eat the adult veggies . She is only one years old . I so hope her and mom continue to have the care at this point and time that they need for a healthy start . Please let me know of the eating habits that bueatiful baby and her mom 😄🤔😍 . I really want the progress of this uniting to be a success,👍👋👋👋✨♥️✨ Thanks for sharing these memorable moments 🤗😍😄
Zookeepers will have to be feeding her. Mother’s milk would have dried up long ago without regular feedings.
Joyce, it’s my understanding that Momoko is not making milk, not nursing. Sumomo is being bottle-fed every time they all go inside, throughout the day and night-often enough for her feedings. This will go on for another year, or longer, tapering off. Not to worry, her belly is quite full. She’s a sturdy little tank, cute though! And still an angel! 🦍😍😇

There is hardly anything green in their enclosure. No tree to climb, no swings, bushes or caves......Horrible!
В природе они почти не лезут на деревья,по земле шарются.Все у них правильно.У Мамотаро мало места,поэтому настроили всякой чепухи.Это не шимпанзе.
