You're an Ancient Soul, priya Gabriella!...a Rishi! To be able to know the wisdom and beauty of Sanskrit and to share it with the world the way you do... only an ancient soul, a rishi, a saint can! Sukhi bhava!!🙏
Totalllyyy agreee @Alps her energy is soooo different , so calming, so much wisdom .. 😄
Gabriella is not a rishi, she's a rishika.
You're right @Rishi! She's a 'rishika'... another synonym being 'rishini'.
@rahul mahendra -- yes, I agree... That's why it's encouraging that there is a reawakening amongst people for Sanskrit. There are schools in England where British children are being taught Sanskrit! There are vloggers in USA who are vlogging in Sanskrit! India needs to catch on to the movement...
I have to disagree. Every Human being is born with the same capacity, some choose to become Rishis (Only a handful Rishis are born without a mother or father, all others are like us) whereas some choose otherways. Sanskrit or Vedas are all trying to spread this wisdom to everyone. Its a fruit, if you can grab it, then you'll know the taste of it. But anybody who tries will have it and she's grabbed it as well. But ultimately we all have to grab it one day or another day. Life doesn't know languages, religions, nations, species etc., which exists only in a mind. No mind can explain the taste of wisdom. No mind can ever understand life as every understanding is a misunderstanding. So, only can be experienced and she's is the example what that experience can make.
See what we did to our culture, a foreigner teaching us use of Sanskrit
Sad indeed
True ,let's start
@@ashutoshjoshi5555 Sanskrit is a tiny subset of Hinduism and nothing else. It was not a widely spoken language and was used only by the intellectual and religious.
She is not a foreigner, she is an Indo-European and therefore a member of our Aryan family.
We are all living on one planet, Nobody is a Foreigner.
Gabriella Burnel is an outstanding, European lady and we need to respect her unique effort in bringing out the spiritual, cosmological, and scientific features of Sanskrit. God bless her !
We Indians are calling it 'Sanskrit' while she is calling it 'samskrutam'.... We need to learn from her....
Spot on
She is not pronouncing 'Samskrutam' but a prejudiced mind can make one listen what's not uttered.
In Indian languages it us " Samskrutham "
British twisted it as Sanskrit
She is saying sanskrita.. .. Sanskrita more than just language.. .. More came afterwards so it might feel she said sanskritam but notice she said the word couple times.. .. She clearly said sanskrita a more Anglanisation of the word.. .. ..
@@venkitasubramaniantp3407 before you say British twisted it let me tell you when certain words are borrowed from the other languages gets affected by the receiver languages flow and certain accents.. .. .. As for english it's sanskrita mantra yoga rama .. . Take for example ram u say ram in hindi but you clearly don't pronounce it ram.. . . . In South it gets changed to ramdu .. . . Rama in English where originally in sanskrit it is ram: .. . . . Do you thing British had hand in twisting into ramdu in South?
Well as being marathi even it's not pronounced as sanskrit but sanskrut in marathi.. . . . To match the flow and accents of new language certain borrowed words get some changes which are acceptible
Even her English sounds like Sanskrit chants...I like it!
Obviously. When a white skinned person imitates anything some people would drool. Desperation for approval from white skinned people. Never ending saga
@@StopHindiImposition I agree with you. No one would drool if it were some black person learning sanskrit.
But still he is right her english is also very calm like sanskrit.
@@StopHindiImposition people like you can learn English but you can't learn Hindi
@@StopHindiImposition Tujhe attention chahiye.. That's the thing..
Our problem is that we believes on our things when a foreigner tells it. And we need to think over this very seriously. Jai Hind.
You will be kafkatrapped into brahmin agenda conspiracy if you talk about samskrutham
Yes brother u are so true about Indians nature.
It doesn't matter whom we listen to, as long as we listen to wisdom. Let us not get caught in the foreigner, swadeshi syndrome.
Because as a society culturelly we destroyed for about 1000 years about 50 generations.
yes... we ridiculed like Idiots (only fools can be influenced by bollowood and Tollywood) and did not listen to our masters in Sanskrit. Now when a foreigner tells it, we complain that "no body taught us"... NO..you were not interested in learning. You were interested in only "POSING" then and now. Samskrita Bharati has been teaching spoken Sanskrit for years and is mainly responsible for resurgence of Sanskrit in India at topical level. Vedic Chants are already in good hands esp in Karnataka, Andhra, TN, Kerala , MH (Satara). In North, there are a few patches here and there, but they can't match the traditional system of chanting that is widesperad in Southern Parts of India, which has a new energy thanks to support of new age gurus (It alwas had support of traditional gurus)
We have to see how South Indian more focused about "संस्कृत" and it also helps to pure our "कण्ठ" that prevent to enter any type of disease and infection in our body .
And while speaking "संस्कृत" , that time we are using our all vocal ability than any other language in the world.
Jai Aryavart 🚩🚩
Jai yogeshwar krishna 🙏🙏
Jai Bharat Varsha 🚩🚩🇮🇳🇮🇳
I liked when she used word "samskrutham" instead of Sanskrit, this shows her love towards language.
She is not pronouncing 'Samskrutam' but a prejudiced mind can make one listen what's not uttered.
@@manmohansinghpal2824 listen to the video properly, then comment about "Prejudice"
@@manmohansinghpal2824 Samskrutham is correct. It means "Pure/Purified"
@@manmohansinghpal2824 abe you came here also
@@manmohansinghpal2824 yea she said samskrta much closer to samskrtam than sanskrit which is a total corruption. Samskrta can be called both samskrta and samskrtam its use is dependent on the grammatical context but those rules dont apply in a simple vernacular language like English.
Her Sanskrit learning is reflected even in english pronunciation. She stresses while uttering english words also.
yes even her english is so
Exactly! The way she says LAANGUAGE makes her more Indian than any of us. My salute to you, Madam.
It's not sanskritam or sanskrutam.. it is in between sanskritam and sanskrutam...
@@chandraprakashsinha7479 Why argue about pronunciation. I can assure you that the Indo-Aryan Language introduced to India sounded nothing like the Dravidianised Vedic Sanskrit that followed. In much the same way that the English language spoken by the British in India 80 years ago sound nothing like the shitty Indianised of English that most Indians 'speak' today
So beautiful to hear this angel speak.
I am glad so many people have discovered the greatness of Sanskrit after they learned just one single word. Sanskrit is indeed great.
Gabriella is really inspiring. Even though I'm just starting to learn Sanskrit and know just a little bit, sometimes when chanting stotram, reciting mantra or reading, I feel myself overwhelmed and kind of possessed by the Spirit of that sacred language, which is really a portal to the Absolute.
Only one who listens and speaks from the heart can experience how round, fluid and juicy Sanskrit is. I hope that there will be a great revival of saMskRta bhASa in our generation. All hails to the gorgeous mAlinI!
Her pronunciation of Sanskrit words are phenomenal. I myself had the privilege to study this magnificent language for 5 years when I was in school.
Although I've lost touch to it now, I always rejoice when I recite mantras and hear someone talk about it.

ohh my god she has such a great knowledge ..... i wish india education system could produce talented Sanskrit scholars like her
She studied from Oxford University fyi
@@2sridhark hi, when everything is online, then why go to schools and colleges, why not just take online courses of mathematics, accountancy and political science?
When there is such positive impact of Sanskrit language in our lives(which unfortunately not many of us Indians are aware of) then it is a major responsibility of our education system to make sure that every child gets its benefits.
Nope. Aint gonna happen. I mean the dark forces within our society r not gonna let that happen. This ancient knowlege, the treassure trove of enlightenment, is lost to us Indians because of the anti India forces within. It is now left for the europeans, the americans and japanese to preserve it. Om Shanti

One unique and great feature of Sanskrit as a Language is its ability to transform any branch of human knowledge into music and chanting in the form of versus, Shlokas and Mantras. This aspect made it possible for us to recite and remember Vedas and Upanishads for thousands of years in the absence of paper and knowledge of printing.

Wow what a wonderful knowledge does she belonging to foreign land possess? Indians especially tamilians are oblivious of the glory of this great ancient Land.
From day one untill now Tamils know how to drink only. Most of them like to drink. There is more great about it..only you people talking on your own. No point talking about your language and land. Others are improving...can Chennai be like Tokyo? Can your politics people and government servant don't take bribery. Can you maintain a clean city. Why still struggle? No point talking about oldest and greatest...for once a upon a time. Today still a lot Tamil works a labour in developed countries.
Vikneswaran Radah I understand your point but refrain from passing such comments. How do u know that tamilians know only to drink from day one? Have u met every single tamilan and tamizhachi ? However your points about other stuffs are understandable but when you say something so stupid like drinking habits of tamilians think twice because I am tamilan too. Just because you have right to convey your view, it doesn't bloody mean that you can insult people in general. Don't generalize.

She certainly has convinced herself. Me, not so much.
Sanskrit can only be felt by experience and actually speaking, writting and reading it, not by someone talking about it in a language like *English*. Hence you can't feel what she is trying to express because you aren't able to feel what she feels. So, I guess that's the reason you aren't convinced. Not because what she says doesn't make sense or Sanskrit is not the perfect language. (Which UNO and NASA confirmed) It is the most technical and refined language in human history.
