Morning all… Hope you enjoy todays video. Something completely different but perfect for a Sunday video I thought. Dad wanted to do the video 😊 If it goes well, petrol head’s run in my family and my uncle has AC cobra which he said he wanted to do a video on. (Also have a few uncle’s/ friend’s who have some serious motors🙈) Let me know, no problem if not. But something different for Sundays 😊
Yes please on the Cobra.
Yes yes yes, all day long. 😁
You and HoofGP should do a collab on the cars!
I think most watch for you and your dad don’t matter what the content is. Keep it up Tom and ginge 👊💙
Yes please tom would love to see them cars
The look of enjoyment on your dad's face. Priceless.
Now there’s a guy that knows his cars, I’ve said it many times but I could listen to your father all day.
Lovely car with a very committed owner
I agree wholeheartedly
My favorite part is he actually drives the car. It's not trailered back and forth to the track, but fully enjoyed and you can tell he enjoys it wholly.
Nor sitting in some billionaire's garage with the other 28 cars they own !
You spend more time in the garage than you spend with me “sooo, at least I’m not in the pub” haha gota love the ginger guy 😂 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Your dad has done a fantastic job with his TR Tom it really is a credit to him and a great video you can see the twinkle in his eye when he talks about it 👏👏👍👍
your dad has such a depth of knowledge not only of farming, but things mechanical. SO impressed with what he has done with this car. he really is an absolute champ!!!!!!
"And by that time you are twitching!" 🤣🤣🤣
Absolutely loved this video; the car (being a TR4-5-6 fanboy), your dad's enthusiasm (his knowledge and wisdom are so endearing), and the dad/son bonding moment!
Passion is a brilliant thing and you can see and here the passion in your father for this car, great video Tom and nice to see more of what makes you guys who you are👍👍
I could listen to your Dad all day long! Loved this video! Your Dads face lights up when he's talking about something he's passionate about. ✨️
Ginger Guy, you're a happy man and so proud of your baby.
The ginger warrior is a fountain of knowledge. I love the tr5 it looks amazing.
The Ginger Guy is a verifiable gear head 😀👍⚙
Great video and you can really tell this is a labor of love❤
The TR5 was definitely the peak when it came to the TR series and had all the romance and mystique - that is not to say they didn't need improving. Great to see Daddy Pemberton has more than one passion beyond the smell of perfect silage.
your dad is such an interesting man; good to see you helping when you were little!
Great video with your Dad Tom he nows his stuff and his right foot 😂😂brilliant more please
Now that is a pride and joy that deserves the title doesn't it. Wonderful restoration, amazing clean engine compartment and a smile wider then most highways
Respect
I had a tr6 in the 80s, cried when l sold her, dreamt about her 4 twenty years after... Super tr5.... 😊❤️🏴🇫🇷
I know a lot of people are shouting for a General Election, and i know you have a ton of work and a life Tom. But i'm calling for a Sunday Ginger Guy video every Sunday.
really liked seeing you and the Ginger out cruising along together. You both looked so happy, having a great time. This is a video you will want to show your kids and grandkids. Thanks again for taking the time to edit and get this out for a Sunday.
Watching your dad rave about his car reminds me of my dad with his '67 Mustang! It's like they're 20 years old again!
It was fab hearing and seeing your dads car, you could see how much he loves it and the joy he ges
It's right wot they say " yu never see a POOR FARMER on a push bike " Stunning Car :) :)
Oh. Oh my! The ginger guy has genuine taste in cars. What a beauty!
I could listen to your old man and yourself all day, what a bloke with a wealth of knowledge
Nice to see you two having a bit off fun in the TR5, makes a difference from talking about tractors 😂😂,
The ginger guy a man after me own heart Tom a proper petrol head 👍👍👍
SUNDAYS FOR GEARHEADS!!!
Woop-woop! 🥳 🎊 🎈 🎉
This was a brilliant Sunday vid! Can see that's your dad's pride and joy. True petrol head right there
The old man’s a Champion !
It’s fantastic to see someone so passionate about something wether it’s a car or tractor or whatever it is
I wish one day to find that passion for something some day
Your dad is lucky and your lucky to have him
Your father is a great sales person. I enjoy how much your father loves his car.
Austin Healey and Triumph ruled the rally in their day. Thanks for sharing.
It's think it's always nicer to listen to someone talk about their passion compared to someone with just knowledge.
Hey hey The Ging cleans up nice! It was so fun to watch him driving and describing the TR5. It doesn't matter what it is he gives it that same energy and excitement! Have a great day
As a MX5 owner I can understand Dad's enthusiasm - well done
TR6 owner here. He just lights up talking about the car and it's nice to see that he drives it properly instead of just to car shows.
In the mid 70’s our family had a TR4 and a TR6, absolutely loved those cars. My Mother got a speeding ticket in the TR6 and the cop told her he had been trying to catch up to her for several miles 🤣🤣❤️
He must know how to manage his time run a farm, bring up a young family and restore a classic car. I like that he has retained all the original parts. The best bit is the car is used. He is a great character.
Congratulations DAD on YOUR dreamcar
Toms Dad continues to amaze, top bloke
Your father is a gem, true English gentlemen.
There is no end to his knowledge and skill. Brilliant
SAWEEET RIDE \0/ Ginger Guy has Jam!!! What a ROAR!!! Absolutely Gorgeous!
Enjoyed watching how much your father obviously loved rebuilding this beautiful classic vehicle.
I Am Older Than your Dad ( 76 ) I Remember The TR5 It Was A Great Sports Car, I Had A Sunbeam Alpine Sports Car In The 1960s And It Was One Of the best Smaller English sportscars of the day I Had A Hard Top, A Soft Top, And A Tonneau Cover. I Lived In South Wales UK And As Soon As The Sun Came OUT OFF CAME THE HOOD 😄 I Now Live In Australia And Wish I Had My Alpine x
My sister and her then husband bought the American version a TR-250 in 1968. It truly is an incredible car.
Love the passion of the old man! Knows his stuff. Great little car
Love the passion thw ginger warrior has for the TR5....like how he has put his own touches to it....i have a view vintage cars and tractors ...ny pride and joy...wish him many more happy miles of motoring.
1 million percent Tom can’t get enough of sweet motors I love all sorts not just expensive ones ❤👍
Tom's garage. The idea definitely has wheels. The you Mr P senior for sharing your pride and joy with us
Stunning vehicle my brother 💙👌🏻
Don't think I ever seen a grown man smile so much the proud on his face is priceless
Tom please tell the ginger mustache guy that we love the video we love seeing his passion for something outside of farming. That he gets to enjoy it and I’ll share it with his wife who enjoys with him instead of being mad at him for being in the garage with it and leaving her in the house. What a great life he’s able to share with all of us through you. Brings us joy almost to the level of your dad is just like the cows when you let them out in the spring he was just bouncing all around being happy sharing this passion with us. what’s funny is that’s why we all love your videos because every day you share with us your sharing your upbeat passion for your love of farming in the community and family. Be well be you
My hubby’s dad built a car from a shell, it’s a love thing! 😊
As others have said its not a self queen but gets used often and gives your dad so much pleasure and that for me is what it should be about, Fantasctic car and a credit to your dad.
my grandmother and I love to go around in her 1978 Triumph Spitfire 1500
I just love listening to your dad.
Great vid. You never know what someone's hidden hobby or passion is. A classic car still being driven today and giving pure enjoyment.
Well done to your dad he is so proud of his car more to life than work very passionate about it he deserves it
Awesome, Awesome, Awesome, fantastic to see dad excited as a teenager, brilliant Tom.😊😊😊
I think the only other thing I've heard the ginger guy talk about so passionately is feeding the ground so the grass can grow.
Love the video your dad is such a sponge, He should be a teacher
This man is a legend pure passion
That’s a stunning car :) It’s great to see people passionate about cars, especially the older ones! I hope your folks continue to enjoy many more trips and happy miles in her!
The first car that I bought was a 1960 TR-3A . I got married in 1963 and new wife needed a car--what else but a new 1964 Spitfire. The TR-3 was stolen and I was in the US army and did not have time to buy a used TR-3 to replace it and so I bought a 1965 TR-4 IRS. It had drive train problems, its clutch would lock up when cold and that would lobutck the transmission up. I replaced it with a new 67 VW Beatle. I eventually found a 1959 TR-3 in1969. I still have it, but it is not quite a runner. My last Triumph is a 1977 TR-7. This was a great car when it ran, but had engine problems. The slant 4 was a dog in US trim.
Love the passion in your dads voice
Awesome to see the enthusiasm from your Dad for that car and the work put in to it.
You sir got your dad on a roll you can tell your dad love his car thanks
What an absolutely fantastic story and its more than fantasticly fun and heartwarming to see your dads pride, and yes, I dont know much or anything about cars, but I know this 100% surely, that car is so beautiful that it makes a grown man smile like a kid on christmas eve!
Tom you should dedicate Sunday videos for your dad so you should 😊
Your dad's a legend Tom!!
There should be a LOVE button!!
I know what it is like to have a serious love for a car. Mine was a 1966 Pontiac GTO red convertible with 3 deuces under the hood and a Hurst transmission. BOY! COULD IT RUN! Spent many an hour in that car. Many, many memories. The joy and pride on your fathers face was simply priceless!! Yes, driving a car like that would certainly make you feel young again! Would love to see videos of your family’s serious motors as well as your farm videos!
My Mum had a mustard yellow TR6 back in the 60s. Drove it round Italy and still talks about it today and has a screensaver pic of herself and that car. Great looking car, and I'm not even a 'car person'
Wow! Had it for 27 yrs!! Did I hear right!
It's in very good condition. I had a 1967 TR-4A back in my uni days and loved it, same colour (royal blue or midnight blue, can't remember which). Always wished I had replaced it with a TR-5 or TR-6 but opted for a 1976 Stag instead, which I still have. Those TRs have a timeless, beautiful shape. All the mods/upgrades your dad has done sound great, but personally I would have kept and re-upholstered the original seats. I understand MX-5 seats are more comfortable but they just don't look right in the car. Apart from that it's a beauty.
Do more of those! The family, old buildings, old equipment.
your dad should do more videos he is a great chap
Big thank you to the Ginger warrior for sharing his pride and joy. She is truly gorgeous and a beautiful colour
Awesome thank you for ginger guy and mothers other woman!
Ginger guy's passion! As always, the joy of life shown by your dad.
Quite simply, brilliant!
Love this "sometimes we do the Sunday video" great work
Nice another British classic kept alive
One of my favorite you've made thus far. Your pa makes me smile with his enthusiasm
Father never grow old you look great I love the car
I've watched lots and lots of your video's Tom and always enjoyed your dad's enthusiasm for everything mechanical. Seeing this enthusiasm in his pride and joy was something else. Smiled the whole way through!
great video,
its always worth watching videos about a man's passion
Brilliant absolutely brilliant 👏
Can't believe I just sat and watched some guy brag for 18 minutes straight about my top 5 fave car and how he owns it and I don't!
Well done guys, she looks gorgeous and great vid.
Greg
Fantastic thank you for sharing 👍👍👍
What a lovely video to watch on a Sunday, any video you do Tom I will always watch. Thank you. Your dad is amazing! ❤
Priceless!!
Loved the video. Always nice to see so much enthusiasm.
Amazing! So very cool!
Absolutely marvellous, what a soundtrack with that engine!
Great to see you guys play as hard as you work. Great stuff.
Great video and thanks for sharing your pride and joy with us 😀👍🏻
I owned a TR 250 in New York 30 some years ago and loved it. And the car in this video is not a TR 5; it is a TR 250. Thank you for your video!
