In a conversation for her podcast in Saratoga, Jena tells Lindsay what a win in the “Midsummer Derby” would mean and her take on Arcangelo’s chances.
LOVE, A GREAT TEACHER!!!!!!!!! THANKS 300MILL UPLOADER.
Great training job by Jena never give up ..
So happy for Jena you deserve it😊
Go, baby, go! Rooting for Arcangelo, win or lose
Just a post race WOOOOOOOOOO! WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Arcangelo is a champion. Has proven it on the track. Thrilled Jena getting some just do. Many great women trainers this is not an anomaly. She knows her horse. They trust each other.
Great training job by Jena and thanks for the interview with some thoughtful questions
Congratulations to Jena and the entire Arcangelo team for winning the Travers Stakes.
Back to back win by Argangelo prove that he is the best horse trained by a woman and beaten an elite group of horses ! Very good job done and keep on winning !
ugly, what do you know?
She is giving him the chance to mature. Horses, like people, mature at different rates. Some horses are 2yo champions (cheerleaders/football jocks) then never accomplish anything again. Some become late 3/4 year old champions (late bloomers) and have very good careers. Racing is obsessed with immediate gratification. Everybody wants those precocious 2yo's. Problem a lot of them don't last. How many young horses with potential end up being mediocre or dead because they were pushed too soon. This
horse's breeding indicates give him time and he will achieve. I think of Seabusicut, Forego, and Kelso among others who matured later, were blessed with trainers who understood and gave them time to make history.
Well... He Did It!!!
Her Italian Blood Was Pumping in The Belmont Stretch
🎉🎉🎉
If track condition was fast Archangelo will have won by three lengths as Disarm in no way would have gotten to a length to him at the line the track was a drying track thus made the going tacky which gave the horse more to do but Angelo Loves a fast track
Also, Arcangelo was 4 wide on the turn. Disarm came through on the rail. The stronger, more powerful horses were suited to this track. Arcangelo winning was huge.
@@silvereyedstacker1842 Castellano went four wide in search of better ground as the going was drying up Angelo performs best on a fast track watch his Belmont race how smooth he was running in comparison to the Travers
@@user-wm7mp2fl1p I liked how he won the Travers better. Because that was a deep, tiring track and he still had a tremendous burst in the stretch. I think he improved from the Belmont.
@@silvereyedstacker1842 His Belmont win was easier as the track was to his liking he won the Travers on merit as the drying track is not to his advantage hence disarmed closed in on him do remember bet when the advantages outweighs the disadvantages do not take a win by neck or nose and be happy the easier the win the safer you feel
Believe he already won, so take it easy save something for the next race. (BCC)
One more win in the BC Classic and you have the 3yo championship and Horse of the year!! Get ‘em little Arrogate!!!
