I would have prefered if you tried to bypass the battery protection to maybe get it to work.The battery is no good as it is anyway.

Sorry, but I don't mess with batteries, except there is really a urgent emergency going on. Is a personal decision, nothing what I want to argue about.

I real never will understand why ppl not telling true. Not so long time ago I got laptop from my work mate with massive liquid damage and even after I showed him photos he denied 😅
