I burst into tears when Steve started answered the question “Why did you talk about converting to Baha’i?” (I had never heard of Baha’i until my friend, Deb, told me about it). I cried because I felt it deep in my soul. All of my adult life I have been saying the same thing. I was raised Christian, and recently found out I am genetically Jewish. I have always known in my heart and soul that God wants all of us connected to Him as His children. I believe He will reach and connect with everyone any way He can reach them. I’ve never heard anyone else feel that way! 😊

This video has greatly helped me in my understanding. I am an Adventist Baha'i. The Adventist in me is that I am a vegetarian. The Baha'i in me is that I respect all religions. To me, the Baha’i Faith is a new cycle of human power that brings humanity together. It generates energy & desire to fellowship with people of different tribes, races, nationality & religion. It's a power that works to exterminate from the face of the earth any feeling of superiority or inferiority. It's an invitation to fellowship with diverse peoples of the world. It promotes the use of scientific and prayerful ways of solving problems. It's a power that instills in individuals & society the confidence to question ancient beliefs & institutions that promote hatred & fear.

That's so interesting. I've pretty much lived most of my entire life in line with the Baha'i teachings without even knowing this faith existed. There have been times when I was faced with the hard and deadly virus of racism and I would turn to God in that moment and say I forgive this person who is sick with racism because they just don't know the one simple fact they we are made from one quilt with many colors and living on one rock that belongs to all of us. I always like to share the basic truth that we should always respect and embrace each others differences and do our best to bring us all together especially through a medium like the creative arts. As an actor, singer, and film maker It is my number one priority to unite us all in every way possible. Thank you for sharing your faith and thank for your incredible mission to do the work that needs to get done. Many many blessings to you and your team.

YOUR VIDEO REMINDS ME OF MYSELF
I STARTED GOING TO BAHA'I SCHOOL
WHEN I WAS A CHILD ,IN MAURITIUS
    WHEN THE TEACHER WAS WRITING
    ABOUT ' PROGRESSIVE REVELATION. '
    I BECAME EXTREMELY INTERESTED
    .I COULDN'T KEEP MY EYES OFF THE BLACBOARD,HELD MY BREATH,I COULDN'T HAVE UTTERED A WORD IF I HAD TRIED,I WAS ABOUT 9YEARS OLD,I THINK.
IT WAS THE VERY MOMENT,I DECIDED
    I AM GOING TO BE A BAHA'I .
IT WAS THIS MOST LOGICAL PIECE OF INFORMATION WHICH REALLY AND TRULY STUCK IN MY MIND .
    I'LL NEVER FORGET THAT DAY.
I LOVE LISTENING TO PRAYERS FROM ALL RELIGIONS.
AND I BEAR DEEP RESPECT FOR ALL MESSENGERS OF GOD.
TODAY,IF THERE IS ANYTHING I AM REALLY HAPPY ABOUT IS "BOTH MY PARENTS WERE DEVOTED BAHA'I 'S.
MY LATE DAD USED TO SAY IT IS SO IMPORTANT FOR THE WHOLE WORLD TO HEAR ABOUT THE BAHA'I FAITH.

Thanks, Steve, what a marvelous story! As a former Highland Parker, from 1988 to 93, I got a kick out of your story. Growing up Catholic, I was influenced deeply by my Jewish landlady, Ella Riffkind, in Oak Park, who got me started on studying comparative religion because of the wonderful example she demonstrated by the quality of her character. I was fortunate to become a Bahai in 1976. The unity of the human family is our greatest need today. Thanks again for sharing!

During this Pride Month, which has been celebrated in so many diverse and controversial ways, I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to, and awe for the countless same-sex attracted (SSA) Bahá’ís who have selflessly served the Cause of Bahá’u’lláh down through the decades. I personally have witnessed SSA Bahá’ís serving on National and Local Spiritual Assemblies, as members of the Institution of the Learned, as pioneers, as well as among the dedicated rank and file of the world-wide Bahá’í community.
In an age of materialism, racism and identity politics, their example of identifying as world citizen Bahá’ís rather than by their biological, material or sexual identities, serves as sterling example that we are all souls who happen to have bodies (not the reverse), made in the image and likeness of the attributes of God (justice, kindness, truthfulness, faithfulness, purity, etc.)
We are all different sized and shaped mirrors, with the same function (vocation); that is, to identify as reflectors of those attributes, the way a mirror reflects the sun; not to herd in clusters of like mirrors, taking pride in our physical similarities. The mistaken self-image of identity politics not only emphasizes separation over our true human unity via our common vocation, but also allows the world to go dark as we take pride in our personal or tribal mirror while we forget to and/or fail to reflect the Sun.
Thank you, for your example of obediently reflecting the Sun and making the world brighter, my beloved SSA Bahá’í brothers and sisters.
“Noble have I created thee, yet dost thou hast abased thyself.
Rise then unto that for which thou wast created.”

Regarding your question concerning helping the poor: The Bahá’ís should not go so far as to refrain from extending charity to the needy, if they are able and willing to do so. However, in this, as in many other things, they should exert moderation. The greatest gift that we can give to the poor and the down-trodden is to aid to build up the divine institutions inaugurated in this day by Bahá’u’lláh as these institution, and this World Order when established, will eliminate the causes of poverty and the injustices which afflict the poor. We should, therefore, do both, support our Bahá’í Fund, and also be kind and generous to the needy.

But I have to admit the notion of now being able to run faster and play basketball better is a new one on me. It also seems odd Mr. Sarowitz "can't recall" any exceptions to "love thy neighbor" on the part of Moses, when that particular Manifestation of God ordered his followers to go into Canaan and slaughter every man, woman, child and infant, sparing only the virgin girls who they could keep as part of their booty.

@@RocketGator05 I wrote an article titled "48 Reasons Why I Left The Baha'i Faith," but have not uploaded it yet. If I were to draw out one major reason, it would be the fact that the Baha'i "administration" suppressed and covered up the Baha'i "Book Of Laws" (Kitab-i-Aqdas) for the entire time I was a member (and for about 150 years after it was written!), saying "It's not been translated yet." (It had been translated several times.) If I were to have read that book -- the straight unadulterated text -- in the beginning, I never would have joined. The "Baha'i Faith" that the "admin" foisted on the world is very different thing than what you see reading the Kitab-i-Aqdas. Really just a primitivistic, Islamic, and strange sect was all it was. The "universalist" ideas were cherry-picked and magnified by the "admin" to attract progressive westerners.

All faith cannot be all right. It is like one would say 1+1=2 and another one would say that 1+1=3. Two different opinions can be both wrong but cannot be both right. It can only be one is right and the other one is wrong. Its common sense and logical is it not?
Answer this question people of the Baha'i faith. If you said that Jesus Christ was among the many other prophets who speak wisdom and love how is it possible that He is the only one who said I am the Son of God and there is no other like me. I am the bread of life, the Good Shepherd, the one who came from above to save the lost, the Lion of Judah.
He said in John 14:6 “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. No other prophet ever said that about himself it was only Jesus Christ and He exclude all other religions and He said He is the only one to life and be saved. Jesus Christ is the only one who died on the cross and was buried and rose again. All the other prophets are dead and never rose again so why believe in dead ones and not believe in the one who is still alive.
John 1:1-5 In the beginning was the Word, (Jesus Christ) and the Word (Jesus Christ) was with God, (God the Father) and the Word (Jesus Christ) was God (Jesus Christ). He (Jesus Christ) was in the beginning with God (God the Father). All things were made through Him, (Jesus Christ) and without Him (Jesus Christ) nothing was made that was made. In Him (Jesus Christ) was life, and the life was the light (Jesus Christ) of men. And the light (Jesus Christ) shines in the darkness, (sinners) and the darkness (sinners) did not comprehend it.
Mr. Steve Sarowitz I dare you to name me another prophet who did what Jesus Christ did while they were here on earth. You will not find another one like Him so I think you should believe Him to be the true Savior more than any other prophets. They are all liars and false prophets who are wolves in sheep's clothing and should be avoided.
I guess your religion and all the other ones really prove that they are all cults, false, idolators, and worshipper of many false gods that we should not follow and believe. Are you going to deny Jesus Christ never said this or He is not a true prophet now? Are you going to exclude Him from being among the prophets because He has excluded your Baha'i faith?

Only Jesus said, “I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No man comes to the Father but by Me. If you really knew Me, you would know My Father as well. From now on, you do know Him and have seen Him.” so perhaps He is the only Way?
Only Krishna said, “I am the Way, and the Master who watches in silence; thy friend and thy shelter, and thy abode of peace. I am the beginning and the middle and the end of all things; their seed of Eternity, their Treasure supreme.”, so perhaps He is the only Way?
Only Buddha said, “This indeed is the Way-there is no other-for the purification of one’s vision. Follow this Way. I have taught you the Way… making the effort is your affair.”, so perhaps He is the only Way?
Only Muhammad said, “This is the way of thy Lord, leading straight: We have detailed the signs for those who receive admonition. For them will be a home of peace in the presence of their Lord: He will be their friend, because they practised (righteousness).”, so perhaps He is the only Way?
Only the Bab said, “Verily God hath revealed unto Me that the Path of the Remembrance which is set forth by Me is, in very truth, the straight Path of God, and that whoever professeth any religion other than this upright Faith, will, when called to account on the Day of Judgment, discover that as recorded in the Book no benefit hath he reaped out of God’s Religion.”, so perhaps He is the only Way?
Only Baha’u’llah said, “He hath manifested unto men the Day Stars of His divine guidance, the Symbols of His divine unity, and hath ordained the knowledge of these sanctified Beings to be identical with the knowledge of His own Self. Whoso recognizeth Them hath recognized God. Whoso hearkeneth unto Their call, hath hearkened unto the voice of God, and whoso testifieth to the truth of Their revelation, hath testified to the truth of God Himself…. Every one of them is the Way of God that connecteth this world with the realms above…. They are the Manifestations of God amidst men, the evidences of His Truth, and the signs of His glory.”, so perhaps They were all the way?

Some laws of Judaism were changed by Jesus: Sabbath, divorce, eye for an eye - It doesn't make Judaism wrong. Those laws were from God, both the Jewish and the Christian. But they came at different times, to people at different stages of their collective development. But whereas these social laws were different, the spiritual laws of the two religions are the same. The Golden Rule is found in both religions, the worship of God, etc. It is the spiritual laws that make all religions one. The social laws can never be the same because of changing circumstances.

Two angels spoke to the people who had just witnessed Jesus being taken bodily back into heaven. They said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen Him go into heaven” (Acts 1:10-11).
Zechariah 14:4 says that when Jesus returns his “feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem.”
Matthew 24:30 says “all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.”
Revelation 1:7 says “Look, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all peoples on earth will mourn because of Him. So shall it be! Amen.” So.....Jesus left the earth from the Mount of Olives; in His glorified, physical body; as people watched; and disappeared from sight in a cloud. And Jesus will return to the earth to the Mount of Olives; in His glorified, physical body; as people watch; and will come with the clouds. And I say, “So shall it be! Amen.”

    Do you know Qayyum al-asma?
Did you study all the religions to discover that they are the truth? And then did you study Babi Sheikhi Shiah Islam to discover that the only truth is Bahá'u'lláh?
    You know Quran?
What the Bab said regarding Jews and Christians?
If Bab is the truth so do you agree with the Chapters 96 97 98 99 100 102 of Qayyūm al asma?
    ...
    ...
Do you agree that "Jews" killed the Jesus?
    Do you agree with this:
The people among whom He appeared were the most decadent race in the civilized world, grossly ignorant, savage, cruel, steeped in prejudice, servile in their submission to an almost deified hierarchy, recalling in their abjectness the Israelites of Egypt in the days of Moses, in their fanaticism the Jews in the days of Jesus, and in their perversity the idolators of Arabia in the days of Muhammad.(God Passes by)
    Etc etc

20:33 "regime" you mean islamic shariah laws ( the origin of the bahai faith) ??
    Read below: Bahá'u'lláh is speaking:
The Holy Law (Sharí`ah) of the Messenger of God may be likened to an ocean from which innumerable gulfs branch out. And this is the cause of the weakness of the Sharí`ah of God among the peoples. Until now no-one, not kings nor subjects nor the indigent have understood the reason for this, nor have they appreciated how to regain that power that has vanished and the learning that has fallen away. Thus one gulf is Shí`a, one gulf is Sunni, one Shaykhi, another Shah Ni`matulláhí, one Naqshbandi, another Malámatí, one Jalálí, another Rifá`í, and yet another Khárábátí. Thus are multiplied the innumerable pathways to hell. Thus do the stones weep and the Pen of the All-High laments. Seest thou what has befallen a Sharí`ah whose light illumined the world and whose fire, was the guide of its peoples. Well is it with those who ponder upon these matters and investigate then and are fair in their judgement. Thus did this difference in public rituals become the cause of the shaking of the foundations of the Cause of God (Bahá'u'lláh unpublished) in persian Lawhi ittihad Adiyyeh hazrat mahboob

So teaching a kid the bahai Faith according to Abdulbaha is wrong and indoctrination.
