Livestock Production & Marketing ZRBF BRACT

Livestock is the most valuable resource for communal farmers, yet it also suffers the impacts of climate change. The ZRBF-BRACT project invested in improved production, management and marketing of small livestock namely poultry and goats. To increase farmers' resilience to climate change, the project has taught them risk reduction techniques and financial literacy. The project has turned cattle farming from a form of subsistence to farming as a business which addresses both food and income security.
