I work in a hospital and it’s kinda entertaining walking through the empty floors listening to this when I have a few minutes to spare lol. Kinda creepy but also fascinating.
listening to this while writing my dnd campaign, they are currently walking through a dark tunnel in a cave unaware that the plots villian is at the end of it :)
I listen to this with my headphones whenever reading a book about something mysterious. The sound makes the combination perfect! Thankyou! -This person's son. (P.S. this is just me on my mom's computer, i'm actually 11.
This makes me wonder dozens of mysterious/lost and unexplored places and creatures on earth.. let alone other planets and the galaxy. Seriously gives me chills
RDR2 for me really captures that horror aspect of the wilderness and being hunted throughout the game and the crazy interactions you get changes the mood of all those things
Wow.. I spent ages trying to find some soundtrack music for a dndgame where the characters are travelling across a wasteland of ash and bone towards a black hole that is ripping the land apart. It had to be alien, menacing, dangerous, intense pressure yet also have a sense of silence.... with a hint of intrigue... i thought using a soundtrack would be impossible but this captures the dynamic so perfectly.
"Lost" is absolutely perfect for one of my PC's nightmares. I'm writing out his descent (quite literally) as I listen, and it's absolutely incredible. What a killer soundtrack to write my horror campaign to. Thank you for sharing your art with the world, dude
You're walking down the train station platform. Pacing, thinking "when is my train going to come?" You look around, seeing bold graffiti on the dark black sooty walls of the station speaking some language you've never seen before. It scares you a little, but you keep your nerve. You look up at the train timetable before checking your wrist watch. "It should be coming round soon" You'd think to yourself, as you go to sit on a neglected metal seat. The leaves rustle around in the station platform, like lonely tumbleweed. You start to worry, it's getting late after all, and in a dark, desolate station. You said to your mother you'd be home by 11pm and it's now 2am. You hear rattling getting louder and louder, like the train wobbling towards the station. You get up to look around the corner to see if its the train coming... you see the train lights. You'd be relieved and go to grab your suitcase near the metal bench. You roll it towards the train, ignoring the cacophony of noises, rattling around now inside your head. Just as you get onto the train, the ceiling has fallen into the roof of the train drivers section killing him instantly. You scream without thinking, not knowing what has just happened, you cower/hunch over, covering your head with your hands. As soon as everything has gone eerily quiet, you decide to wheel your bag off the train again, unsure if anyone is going to move the train. You walk towards the drivers seat and see dark red blood splattered all over the train window like a Jackson Pollock painting only using different shades of red. The drivers hand slides down the window with his head jolted back into the seat, touching his back. You know it's something from a nightmare scene, but the least you can do is see if you can help. You need to figure out a way of getting into the drivers section of the train. You look around desperately in the desolate abandoned- like station. You look on the floor and find a brick from the roof, leaving your suitcase behind, you go to pick it up. You throw it into the drivers compartment immediately staining the brick blood red. You'd climb into the window and see the extent of the bloody windows. You'd drag him off the seat, he was limp and elephant heavy. You'd kick open the doors and drag him onto the floor. His white shirt was now sodden with blood from the impact. You immediately get your phone out and stain it with blood from the man's shirt/body. You are totally unaware your phone is at 10% after using it all day. You call the Emergency Services for an ambulance and have a call and just as you tell them the adress, your phone dies. "Hello?! HELLO!?" You're alone and cannot get back home.
Bro, you have no idea how much you helped me with this one. I'm new in D&D and on one of my first sessions I used this video to enhance the mood. Let's just say it worked
Holy lol That was the quickest hour of my life. It helped me so much to immerse in my story, and as I see from the comments, they feel similarly about it. Thank you for this!
This record makes me feel very mysterious. I would listen to this music when I'm on drugs and want an experience of being surrounded by beautiful, mysterious, and enchanting spirits. Through the noises I hear in the video it makes it feel like a game. It makes me want to go out and explore, I'll be listening to this day and night.
I'm so very glad I discovered ambient music and all the options there are out there. As an adult I struggle hard with keeping my attention focused, so these videos help so much with reading, it helps transport me into the story and keep me focused. About to start a new horror book with this in the background 🙂
Currently listening at 12pm while walking in the middle of the woods trying to get home, personally for me this music is very soothing and relaxing, keeps the atmosphere alive and cheerful 😊.
I keep listening to "Despair" over and over again... I'm really in love with it. Given the title of the track, though, I wonder if that says something about me as a person. Or maybe I'm just overthinking it...
I'm pretty sure the one at 30:00 was painted by Zdzisław Beksiński, if not, then it looks awfully close to his style, you should check his work out if you haven't heard of him.
People may think I'm weird for saying this, but I can relate to some of this eerie music. As if these sounds relate to some of the weird visions I keep having lately.
She wanted those who she had spent years with long ago.. to know that not all people of faith were the enemy.. some genuinely cares about their hurts and fears.. some genuinely wanted to understand .. each person had a different calling, personality, set of life experiences and knowledge to draw from. She wanted them to know that even in her anger she still cared.. for some it would take longer than others possibly.. but some had deeper issues to work through.. she knew that even if she didn't always know what they were. She showed her own anger in the hope that they would see she did understand that.. she wasn't perfect.. she understood the deep, deep rages that could be within.. she tried to understand the things she herself hadn't experienced and she also knew that men could often be not understood or know how to express themselves.. she also knew that a man who was healed from old wounds and allowed to heal could be the most beautiful or wonderful example of overcoming.. that was why she herself loved the imperfections.. those who learned to laugh again.. for some that was scary.. she knew that.. but the sound of a man's laughter was like a gift that carried upon the memories of her heart.. it was the anger at the injustice to many men that kept her moving.. kept her searching.. it wasn't always easy .. it really wasn't but she remembered that pain on her father's face.. she remembered the moment she set determination in her own heart.. she would keep searching for the men who understood in the hope that together the truths would come forth so that they could be seen for what they were.. she did not say that they themselves didn't have a personal responsibility.. they did.. to overcome and to fight for themselves but learning the new and healthy ways to fight.. to forgive themselves.. because she herself knew the damage that could bring beating themselves up for having trusted maybe or for doing things they knew weren't always right.. she wanted them to love themselves.. to know that self love.. to value self control and self respect.. she knew it wasn't always easy.. but she didn't have to take shit from anyone either. Honesty she could deal with much better...
Maybe I'm just cold but I SWEAR I'm getting chills listening to this oh my god, it is EXCELLENT. Gonna add this to my TTRPG campaign ambience CZcams playlist 😁
This playlist make me remember the main mission on the Witcher 3 were you go with avallach through portals, the second dimension you go have the same atmosphere
