In this week's extra special episode of The TV Tray Sessions we have another video from our trip to Macon, Georgia where we're checking out all things Allman Brothers Band!

In this next part of our Macon Series, we're visiting the grave of Martha Ellis. It is said that Duane came here and had the inspiration to write his incredible instrumental "Little Martha" from the "Eat A Peach" album. Very humbling to come here and pay our respects.
SO many incredible things to see in Macon, and we'll be sharing them all right here!
We'll visit the Big House, and of course pay our respects to the Brothers who are no longer with us at Rose Hill Cemetery.
For some unexplainable reason, I have never made the trip down to Macon. The unfortunate passing of Dickey Betts on April 18 of 2024 really pressed me to finally get down there, and I was so glad I did!

they were very spiritual people, from the reference to spirits in Jessica to the last verse of Back to Where it All Begins....you can tell they had a good Mother.
All Todd! I didn't realize that Allmans took so much inspirations from the graveyards. I guess songs aren't the only things.
