I loved Ferguson vs Pettis. Not only for the physicality of that fight but also because of what it meant. Tony Ferguson coming back from a terrible injury and Anthony Pettis still proving he's an entertaining fighter. That fight was overshadowed by the main event but it shouldn't be overlooked as fight of the year. Both fighters gave their absolute all in that fight and the short duration of it only left us wanting more in the good way.

all the fight you tell me was really wars , for me it's hard to decide what was realy the fight of the year , I think Romero vs Whittaker 2 was in my opinion the most impressive fight I saw this year , but
the fact that Romero was not at the good weight for weighing discredit a little bit his performance . So maybe Tony vs Pettis or Gaethje vs. Poirier was the 2018 fights to absolutely not miss
