The Ripley AR5s - From Dave Oldham's Collection

Here's a look at the hand built Ripley AR5s belonging to David Oldham. These rifles are not purchased off the shelf and are custom built to order. Great quality rifles and bespoke rifle stocks are what set these apart from other mass produced rifle manufacturers. I test the rifle at 25 yards and 50 yards.

Hi Mark,
Thank you for your video. It was a real eye opener.
Although I've never researched this, I always thought Theoben were
the first on the scene with pcp air rifles around the late nineteen nineties.
I've discovered Ripley Air Rifles by accident, though what a nice find. A couple of my spring air rifles, I've never liked their stocks, so I attempted to make my own laminated versions.
I've tried to make them unique and my own design. However, it's difficult thinking up something that hasn't been done before.
The light coloured stock you have there is gorgeous. It's probably a field targey version, but it's still beautiful.
Thank you for your troubles in educating us on Ripley Air Rifles. It's been very interesting and I will look out for more of their kit.

Ripley guns are the best of the best. I'm an enthusiast and I picked my 3rd up from Steve in December 2019, its an absolute stunner!
I will never sell it, if I ever gave up shooting I'd hang it on the wall and just admire it, work of art.

I've got a Ripley XR1 it's got the same pellet feeding grove on mine they're awesome built rifles.

Yes, lovely rifles, and all custom built at Ripley just up the road from me and our shooting range. I've heard that the waiting list for one is quite a while.

hi mark,although i noticed target end camera there wasnt a great amount of wind the pellets were scattering a bit,i think out of all the pellets the jsb made ones were probably the best of them,,as for the rest,h'mmm?nice vid though.👍

Ive a .20 ar5s fac I bought on a whim after selling my whiscombe jw80 fac , both fine rifles ,,, but Ive a hankering for a 100kt ,,, maybe just add one rather than sell , but .20 is the biz in fac.

I have 4 Ripley Rifles used both for hunting and target shooting, this is a great review but does not show the full potential of the accuracy of a Ripley.

Yet again ... gonna have to watch a second time round ( last vid , gonna watch tomorrow for the second time ) something always happens when im concentrating on the vids ... noise , mrs hoovering , anything lately ... getting a back log now ... bloody gorgeous rifle , I bet that fits the owner like an Amsterdam hooker .. Not inpressed ...😢sad groping walther barrel i think...? ...i said it before to other reviewers...if ripley youse other makers barrels ... air arms... daystate...do so just to name a frew...and for the price U pay... for me id just bay a kral pro 500 and customase it ... bay a .20 weihrauch barrel ...or bsa ... thats what id do...spending 1.500 ta 2.000... i dont no...if u got bags of money ... so what its a drop in the ocean...carnt take it with U... may as well spend it...but paying top dollar for a pellet gun does not make U a marks man...😕...id a loved to got back in to air guns but FAC to mutch red tape...U buy a air arms s510 = €1000 ... 16j a top of the range .22 lr ...400 ..+ 😢 helo from IRELAND😉
