Settings > Music > Sound Check OFF
This is big reason why music will sound lower than it should but everything else sounds normal.

it has to do with how dolby atmos is leveled and how apple chooses to handle it. they just take it WAY to far. they just announced with release of 17.2 that they will pay artists more per stream for dolby atmos content so content in atmos or what apple markets as spatial audio will likely see an uptick so who knows what apple may throw into the music settings next. @@DamnSlunkDesign

Double check that you have the music app downloaded!! Mine was offloaded and the music option didn’t pop up in settings, but now it works!
