Captain Claw - Speedrun - Cliffs Perfect Score (100% run) (WR

This video features yet another perfect score run and this time on the hard, hazardous Cliffs. This was the most hardest grind from me and I need to do a plenty of failed attempts but the fruits were the best such that I managed to get an amazing sub 9 in the Cliffs thereby beating the previous WR by 15 secs despite Andokai yet again had done a well-optimized path in his WR.
The run went solid till SP1 but then started trembles and an unexpected facepalm moment right after SP1 ft my most silly fail ever. But I somehow compensated it and maintained the timer on par with the same 5 secs lead that I got till SP1. Also after plenty of annoying failed attempts, finally managed to get every treasure in that tricky warp area. Then after the warp and in between SP1 and SP2, having get hits at lot of traps like arrows and peglegs, Claw's HP was under threat like nearly dying at a point but I managed to maintain and then increase it as I progressed and hence a danger of death was avoided and also unexpectedly the margin increased rapidly to a 17 secs lead and thence reached 19 secs earlier at SP2. Probably the best part of the run was from SP2 and especially I was lucky to get the lightning sword as well as catch the rope which was very hard in first try. That further elevated the lead by another 5 secs and as I reached the finish I managed to reach the finish warp 23 secs earlier than the penultimate attempt and hence beating Andokai's WR by 15 secs.

The end life strategy is quite the big brain strategy. :)) Once you know when to use it, it can save quite a few seconds. Pretty much a clever way to use the checkpoints very much in your favor.
