Cdogclary13 yes only at restrictor plate tracks, they can well exceed 200mph at Michigan and Auto Club Speedway. I wouldn't be shocked if they tested a car without the restrictor plate at daytona and have it run 215-220+ without drafting. I would like to see them race like that since safety has improved tremendously since it was mandatory in 1988.

It's essentially just a Chevy 350. They are used where power is strictly regulated to encourage more competitive racing...which is my issue with NASCAR or anything like that. It doesn't reward engineering or ingenuity.
Speirs, thing is the hellcat was purpose built to be left alone, even though with the lowered compression and slightly dished pistons, I'm personally not sure your car could handle a 100 shot, not because of the combustion cycle, but because of how the air fuel ratio changes when you stop using nos, it leans out the fuel really bad, which means it starves the engine of fuel. But tuning COULD help.

Well.. To start this comment off a late model is a type of stock car that is in the beginner stages in some sort of way but it has a huge following here in America. Speaking of the late models I live right next to the fastest quarter mile track in the world (allegedly). They have a lot of late model series races here in Slinger, Wisconsin. To finish this off I love NASCAR and have seen 2 so far. One being at Chicagoland Motor Speedway and the other being at Indianpolis Motor Speedway. Both of which were phenomenal races and would recommend going to one in your life time.
