The biggest problem is "soft esp'ers" because you can always give them the benefit of the doubt since it's not super obvious. Even if they're not PVP'ing, them farming an entire inventory of sulfur and metal because they know where everyone is gives them a massive advantage. Or they just toggle on while raiding or on cargo and then don't do it again for the rest of the day. Love this game to death with 7k hours but I've had to stop playing because of how often someone is just always there at the right time and place, denies, and then gets a game ban eventually.
and then after the game ban they're back on one of their $5 alt accounts
as a rust veteran id safely say atleast 45% of the player base are either admin abusers or cheaters

im a OG since beta and 75 % of the rust pop are cheater , scripter macro with spoofer or admin abuse lik u said u said 45 % but iswear ur generous when u say that
realistically its like 4-8% but thats still really high

honestly wasn't sure the first guy was cheating because the pre-fire could've just been the ping and fps difference, like for example I run 120-180 fps and constantly have 2 ping. That vs yours could seem like cheating because I can see you first and on my screen you just went into the cover but for you it was 50ms ago. Obviously he got banned so he was clearly cheating. but I wouldn't call him a cheater based solely off that series of clips
