72 Deluxe and Custom teles are one of the nicest things Fender has ever released.
I have an all original 1974 Fender Telecaster Deluxe in mint condition. Even the case is original and mint. I have two but I am selling the mint condition one because the other one was given to me by my brother. It's not even close as nice but as you say it's one of Fenders best guitars.
@@gitpickn8551 the pickups have their unique charm indeed. I wish I could afford one 🤣 I wonder if Fender's recently reissued pickups sound as good as the vintage ones.
@@Lalairu I am selling it for 3500. I paid 4000 for it. Its a good deal. I think I put it on Craigs List NH But I will check to make sure. Norms offered me a low amount because they have to make money but a mint guitar? I wanted a mint gem so I had to pay for it. But it's vintage American heritage brother.

Those are the original knobs. They switched from witch hat to strat knobs in 1978 👍🏻

Yes, Telecaster guitars. At the time of 14 years of age was my first 1978 cream Fender Telecaster guitar 🎸 fresh straight from Fender warehouse delivered to my home.

Sweettt!!!! I own a 78' also, in black. Bought in 89 at Matt Umanov's in NYC.
I asked for a guitar that will give me a Keith sound. Open G is fan friggin tastic.
Playing this guitar is like driving a Jaguar, so smooth and cool. Always makes me smile when I play it. Someone will be real happy, so worth the $4k.

Did you write that riff you were doing in drop D on the two pick-ups together?? I haven't heard a lot of blues rock riffs in the last 20 years that sound fresh but that one sure did. Sounds like a great bed for vocals. Anyways, perhaps it's a cover I'm unfamiliar with_ but whatever may be the case it sounded great!

First riff on neck “that’s the speed demon riff from a couple weeks back! Love it! Second riff both pickups in drop D sounds like a jam Greta Van fleet could slide right into! That bridge pickup and riff can slice right through ya! Nice Demo Lemmo!🎶
Very nice 🙂. I had a 1970 Tele , black. With the case. Beautiful playing guitar. Also a Randall amp. Purchased from a professional guitar player that played with johnny paycheck, etc etc etc. Wish I would of kept it. Uggh. Take care 👍✌️🎸🎸
Do these also have flat boards and narrow string spacing....tuners n knobs look original to me
That first song sounds familiar, but I can't place it. My gut says it's by The Doors but I'm not certain... Someone help me out here.
