My wife and I were on this sailing couple weeks ago and we're in the video beginning around @ 7:49 enjoying a drink in the Bahamas (the best port by far). The cruise and ship were beautiful! The islands, well....not so much. Just allot of tourist trap shopping stuff.

I've said it before and I will say it again and again...the QUALITY of your videos is amazing! It was so nice to see St. Thomas and St. John again. We haven't been there since 2018 and at that time there was still a lot of hurricane damage on both islands. If you ever get to St. Thomas again and want a relaxing beach day, check out Secret Harbor, great snorkeling and food and drinks available. Once upon a time over on St. John you could take an island tour in an open jitney and that was wonderful, then they dropped us off at Trunk Bay. So glad you got to spend some time on Trunk Bay. Looking forward to following along the rest of your cruise and then with your RV journeys as well. We hit the road April 12th heading to Utah for our summer workamping gig! We will be riding lots of trails on our free time out in our side by side. Safe travels!...

We were in the Carribian Dec 2016, very pretty 7 islands, including St kitts, St Lucia, St Maartin etc & history. Hats off to the islanders who are amazingly resilient people 🙏🏼

Great video! I visited the Bahamas years ago, but now l don’t tolerate the hot and humid weather. The beaches looked beautiful, but on my bucket list for cruising is Alaska, Nova Scotia, and Iceland. Happy Travels!!

As far as the music…I always tell Michelle that it’s like I have an angel always guiding me to the right music selection. Sometimes it takes literally hours to find and sometimes it just falls in place. So glad you enjoyed!
My sweetheart (hubby) and I did this itinerary on the Carnival Glory in 2015. Unfortunately we got to St Thomas on a Sunday and everything was closed. But our all time favorite was St Maarten. I have even purchased a beautiful jigsaw puzzle of that island which i may never do because I don't have a large enough space in my RV to leave it while I work on it LOL. I am so looking forward to traveling there again next week with y'all. ❤

Caneel Bay was one of our favorite places to stay. It was originally a Rock Resort. Always a very special place and so sad when the hurricanes hit. I had a friend that owned a bar on St Thomas and it was also a total loss. 😢

What a great video. Not much of a cruiser, but did do a 7 day from Seward Alaska to Vancouver BC and would absolutely recommend that one. We hope to do it again sometime.

Been to St Thomas, but didn’t know you could ferry to St John’s! We cruised Royal Caribbean and Celebrity before, but the ship you’re on looks very nice as well. Hope you had a good time.
My husband and I just got back, March 5, from our Ruby Princess cruise for 7 days to Routan, Belize, and Cozumel. His very first my 4th! It was a success and he loved it! His biggest fear was getting sick! We went with another couple and it was fantastic. We went out of Galveston, only 30 minutes from our home.

One of the most worth while excursions I've been on while on a cruise was the submarine ride in Aruba!
I’m sure that was amazing!! We wanted to do one of the underwater adventures like that while in St. Thomas but by the time we decided to do it, it was booked up. Now we’ll have to try it another time for sure!
Next time you go to St. Thomas, check out Duffy’s Love Shack in Red Hook. Such a good place to eat!

@@LivinRVision We were in Cinque Terre in late September 2016! We were actually in St. John on 9/11. It was surreal because we were in the U.S. but New York seemed a world away.
I didn't realize so much of St. John was devastated in 2017. We couldn't afford to stay in Caneel Bay but we ate dinner there one night.

Yes, it’s unbelievable that those islands suffered so much destruction during those hurricanes and then to have the pandemic shut down as well. Very sad. But they are still working to come back and there is still a lot of beauty there!
Pretty good island buffet I saw! I love NCL, but when I get off on one of their islands, I have to buy all of my food and drinks! May have to look at your cruise line for my next cruise!
On the Princess Cays island, the food was included but we had to purchase any drinks at the bar.
Yall are like always on the go on this cruise, i thought it was supposed to be a relax vacation. I like them but i usually where a patch when i go. I still have 2 more years of work, turn 60 sept 3rd, unless you know how i can make money and travel like yall.??? just me....wife passed away a long time ago. hard to find another.

A lot of people stay on the ship and relax when they are at port, but especially if they have been there before.
Lots of remote jobs out there, Flexjobs is a good place to find them.

35 yrs ago in June my wife and I spent out anniversary in St. Thomas at the Frenchman's Reef Hotel. Loved it and hope to go back one day one a cruise. Did you guys book your trip on your own or through a travel agent? We've never cruised and would like to in the next year or two.
We hope you can get back there again to reminisce.

Did you find the ship to be crowded in the buffet, pool, etc? I would like to go, but hubby doesn't like crowds.
The pool area was crowded in the afternoons and sometimes hard to find 2 open lounge chairs together. The buffet area is really big so there was always a table available and the lines moved pretty smoothly.
Love your videos! But I wanted to see more of the buffet. Next time?
It was really hard to get more video of the buffet because of all the people. I may have more footage in the next one. I don’t remember if I got more or not. 😂

Haven’t been on a cruise in years, we only sail princess. We enjoyed trivia times. Do they still have art auction’s ?

I've been on 5 cruises and all of them turned out less then perfect, no fault of the cruise line, a huge storm, going with the wrong people was the cause.
EG: On the first day my mother, son, and girlfriend all got sea sick and wanted to stay in the cabin (we had an inside cabin). I went out and explored the ship and came back at 10:00 PM and everyone was up and getting dressed, and acted really mad at me for some reason.
Come to find out my girlfriend had woken up and thought it was 10:00 AM and they all thought I'd been out all night.
My mother and son thought it was funny but my girlfriend was mad at me the rest of the trip for no reason.
Another trip after being warned not to drink more then two of the mixed drinks they where serving because of how strong they where I had to deal with my girlfriends projectile vomiting on an hour long bus ride back to the tender, and all the way back to the ship on the tender, not fun!
Oh my goodness! That doesn’t sound fun at all. We hope you are able to give it another try sometime. It obviously isn’t usually like that.
I agree, I just made bad choices of people to spend time with.
Once we got back from the trip my ex took me to court for reckless endangerment of a child because he went parasailing, long story short, but she never won in court!
Did you guys have any issues with sea sickness? What did you do for it if you did? Amazing trip so far, we’ve never been on a cruise!
We did not have a single issue. We were mid ship which is best for that. Also, a lot depends on the size of the ship and how high the waves are when you cruise. It was a great experience for us.
What type of camera do you use in your video?
Various. Depends on the video and shots. A lot of GoPro and iPhone. Setting make a big difference.
