I've lived in Atlanta for 27 years and 11 months and I have never once heard of "Cumberland, GA" despite apparently having been there as recently as last week. That's Vinings or Smyrna, depending on who you ask.
And yes, the pizza options have gotten a _lot_ better since I moved to this town.

MTH…Muss, Turner and Hall. The three guys who own it. I live less than a mile from there, it was my go-to during covid. Still like it a lot, but chose Antico over MTH.

I’m from Atlanta, this place is pretty good. It’s a place I tell people about but not a ton of people in the area know about. The margherita is one of the better ones in the metro area and I say that as someone who doesn’t like Margherita much.

This is my local pizza spot! I agree 100% with Dave... excellent ingredients (fresh, flavorful), just not the best cooked pizza. They can be a little inconsistent and burn them quite often in my experience. Still good pizza tho. Best in Atlanta is Antico, by far. Consistent, amazing. Right next door is Muss and Turners, same owner's, which is always excellent, but expensive.

Next time your in Connecticut, there is no place I’d suggest more than Haven Pizzaria Napoletana. It’s in prospect, just outside of New Haven, and it is GODLY. I always get garlic knots and a half meatball pizza. I would drive hours to go here, thank god I live about 15 minutes away
