- The song Tribute off of their first record Statement has been one of the most requested songs in the Nonpoint catalogue. Finally after 20 years of endless requests from fans and critics alike Nonpoint has answered the call. This video is just a piece of their anniversary event, “20 Years of Making a Statement” that has critics saying, “this is the essential way to do an online live stream.” -Madness to Creation.
Watch Nonpoint vocalist Elias Soriano and guitarist/vocalist Rasheed Thomas put down the guitar and pick up a microphone to perform this rock/hip-hop medley of Slick Rick’s “Children’s Story,” Busta Rhymes “Woo Ha, Got You All in Check” and the Method Man with “METHOD MAN.”

I saw Nonpoint open for Fuel and Sevendust in Richmond, va in 2001-02. I remember I tried to get as close as I can to the stage and hold up my sign “ELIAS LET ME SING TRIBUTE WITH YOU!” Elias saw me but didn’t say anything. Andrew saw me and started laughing. I don’t think Robb or KB saw me. A few years later I saw them open for Mudvayne in the same city and state. At the end of the set Elias goes “we are Nonpoint! Go buy a fuckin Tshirt!” Then the whole band walks off stage. Best exit stage left ever. 😂😂😂😂 is one of my all time favorite bands!

I remember hearing this song for the first time after getting the demo from a street team member outside of Deep Ellum Live in Dallas, TX. I have been hooked to Nonpoint ever since. They are absolutely in my top 5 bands. Hearing this live is so awesome!

Nonpoint is so good ... always has been. Super underrated. They seemed to be either the opener or the 2nd act for virtually every tour (same with Dope) back in the early 00’s. Saw them a TON. Never disappointed. Always looked forward to seeing them even as the supporting act with shorter sets.
This particular album is one of the first I pull out when I’m working outside and their entire discography is all over my playlists. Too bad some of their cds are out of print and hard to find (at a decent price point) or else I’d prolly have more.
This show was 20 years in the making and it was incredible . Rebel Rock in Orlando can't get here fast enough. I hope maybe a Nonpoint drive in show in Florida .
