In my findings its an average alcohol based ink, just barely better than a homemade pen ink. Over all its the same price as pen ink without the 10 hours of work, so not too bad. 💯💯💯 Good Video
everyone is missing one ingredient, resin. just add some solid crystals of colophony or polyamide resin that is alcohol soluble. that makes the shit waterproof and kinda uv resistant, gives body to the ink
@@pisscorp shellac helps too
@@pisscorp maybe that is a polyamide resin lmao I'm not very smart
@@stover14 that's what I use, polyurethane for ink±paint and shellac in ink
FINALY I WAS LOOKING FOR SOMETHING LIKE THIS
I swear to god Sciz. Every time I think about buying a new product, you've done a review on it. I've recently been using OTR Coldsweat and Hard To Buff recently, HTB bleeds through very well.
Haha glad I'm ahead of the game in that regard. I haven't done too many inks as of yet but i have a bunch and am in the process of testing them all out and what not. It's good to get your feedback on the hard to buff
@@ScizGraffiti I tested htb and it took atleast 5 layers of rustoleum paint to cover it, even after that there was a slight ghost
@@edionboyz8157 all inks are naturally going to bleed through quite easily in my experience, but buffing is totally different
Does anyone know what H2Bs stain comes from? It's real weird, leaves a yellowy stain instead of the usual red, blue or purple which are usually the best dyes to use
Yo man, you're way too funny! Love your videos. Keep up the informative and valueable reviews!
pce
haha much appreciated man, will do
The buffability depends on the surface
Yeahxexactly. I spoke about that during the video just after the initial tags. A lot of people tend to skip that part but I do try to convey a bit of helpful knowledge in those parts ad well haha. You are totally correct though 👌
@@ScizGraffiti I’ve noticed rougher areas take wayyyy more elbow grease than smooth surfaces
awesome man keep up the good work you have inspired so much to get out there and put my tag everywhere! from Sanos
Much appreciated!
I love your vids Sciz, but you gotta use another surface for testing! Even though that one is nice and reusable it won’t take more than half the supplies out there fairly! Nothing can grip onto that slippery non-porous surface! Hope you change it soon, and good videos either way! Keep killing it brotherman
Electrical boxes are my favourite things to tag
Same bro, I see them in my hood and go ahh there's another blank canvas for me to hit.
There's nothing smoother haha
Electrical boxes are the best. Electrical boxes and bus stops are my favorite things to tag.
yo can that graffiti remover clean caps? Nice video sciz my favorite surface to write on in is a simple flat wall and for fills is brickwalls!
That's a good question for the caps, I'm not sure. It's definitely something I'll be trying now that you've mentioned it!
You did mention it, but yeah with that surface it's like trying to paint water over oil, it just doesn't stick properly. Tbh you probably could have buffed it with soap and water lol.
On anything else but where it can apply properly it's pretty damn solid in terms of buff proof
I love your vids and love graffiti vids from you
thank you man. much appreciated
Great vid! I wanted to know for a long time how the Grog BPI performs. Can I ask you to do "Grep" in a future video?
I haven't used the BPI long enough to give an accurate answer to be honest, but from what others have told me, it does last a good while in the outdoors, compared to some other big brand inks. And for sure, I just added Grep to my hit off list!
I'm in school... time to watch this video!!!
😂👌
You got my subscription big dawg keep up da content ESE I can’t get enough of the reviews even though it just makes me want to buy everything you’re trying out vato
I appreciate the support and hope I can continue to bring some enjoyment through the reviews man!
My favorite thing to tag are Redbox kiosks 😂 the surface is just so satisfying to write on
Haha nice
GlassGlassGlassGlassGlassGlassGlaaaaaassssss!!! For glass I only use the krink k 60(acrylic) ik it comes off glass easy but whenever I see a tag on glass my heart skips a beat there's just something super special about it😍😍😍
Yeah you just can't beat the feel of a mop on glass. :)
i think its different on other surfaces, ive used it on a metal electrical box and they "buffed" it but the tag is still showing just a tad bit less bright.
Yeah for sure. I spoke a bit about that at one point in the video but you're definitely right. The surface makes a big difference.
@@ScizGraffiti yes, Also would love to see a review of the street killer ink and maybe a Comparison to the bpi and fmp 🔥
@@snakeman38 have you yourself used the Grog Street Killer Ink?
@@bravopapa137 yes
@@snakeman38 how is it ? How does it hold up against the buff?
Your channel is so gooooooood!!!! great video mate!!
Much appreciated 🙏 lots more coming soon as always. 👊
This was actually the first ever graffiti ink I bought and I was like "oh sweet! My tags are gonna live forever!!" I did a tag in a school bathroom stall (yes very shitty ik) and my homies told me that it was gone the NEXT DAY, thanks to a SCHOOL JANITOR. very disappointing 😔
Other than that, very good vid homie! Love the new setup and I'm glad you're not dead lol. Keep up the radical work!!
haha not quite dead yet! Thanks for that story too; it has such a young graffiti vibe to it that I totally can relate to from way back when I was first getting into graff as a kid :)
Yes idk how but the school janitor is like the ultimate buff man like he will buff everithing no matter how strong is the formula
I thought Krylon at least switch from the female to the male valve to try to stop graffiti writers from using their cans for spraypaint. Although you can get a mod or a cap adapter I should say for the Krylon and Rust-Oleum cans that turn it into a female can.
Also when you use the acetone in the beginning you should have cleaned the spot that you wiped off fully and got rid of the blue to see if it left any sort of ghosting cuz you mentioned that there was no ghosting but it's still pretty dark in that area and if you fully clean it maybe there would still be faint ghosting?
Also the surface is kind of similar to a glass like you mentioned it's going to be pretty hard not to buff it on glass. Like you need to try it on a more porous surface. I mean not everyone's going to use it on that but say like a metal surface it's pretty smooth but but it's still a little porous versus glass.
Also the blues like this are kind of harder to get to get rid of versus other colors. What you should do is do some tags on the piece of paper and then try to paint over it and see if it bleeds through because that's part of the buffing process too some places they will just paint over it and it will still show through.
That would be interesting to see.
Also if you see on the new bottles it says it's a new formula and basically what they say for the new formula is that The new BPI formula is improved with increased UV resistance, enhanced surface adhesion, and improved color opacity.
I actually have a video coming out tomorrow that shoes ehat a really good ink ghost looks like on that exact surface. In terms of the bleed through in my experience almost any ink will bleed through several layers of paint. But someone else did message me saying they wanted to see a bleed through test, so I made sure to include one in my most recent Dang ink review, and I think I'll make a point of continuing to do it for the inks :)
So after some "in the field" testing ill have to day that on painted metal... i.e. bathroom stall/locker type surfaces as well as trashbins.. (the rubber maid type/city distribute kind) this ink does ghost very well this is also when left to really set (ink stains so the dry time is essentially the war you wanna win with ink) also if your feeling extremely disruptive adding the smallest amount of DOT3 will make it ghost but it never really drys.. i think the reason this gets hate is cuz since it doesn't dry anyone thing or person that brushes against the tag will have what ever makes contact instantly ruined also paint has a hard type covering it... warning... brake fluid even in tiny amounts turns nibs to mush... end result after some time will always be the nibs material smearing off on the object so keep that in mind...
(If you plan on changing nibs in mops always give a brake fluid run a try since its a win win:)..... b0N3$@te$!×
Even Garvey doesn’t do well on glass. Should have done a few tests in like, painted surfaces and wood etc. 👀 killer video bro
Absolutely no ink or dye will make it on glass
Thanks for this vid I just got a grog squeezer and I didn't know if the ink works with the mop because this is my first mop and set of ink
Definitely will work :)
i used it on a metal surface and they tried to buff it and there was still a very clear ghost tag
Yes they did! def depends on surface but it got buffed 80% of every stamp I put down with it
Awesome vid🔥 could u do "SENC" in ur next review?
Just added Senc to my hit off list for a future one!
@@ScizGraffiti thanks bro
You should try the GROG SKI and the SKI booster powder.
Also the surface u are usingis just slippery af , most buffproof inks will stain much better on porous surfaces...
Yes, you are correct :)
"oh well that answers that" LMAO
You should do Grogs Street killer ink next to see how it compares to BPI. I've been using MEFIANS INK out of Paris. 🔥🔥🔥 INK
That's a great idea. Will definitely try to set something up
How is the Grog Street Killer INK?
Currently based in France got a link to that Paris ink?
What’s the surface made of? Looks like the ink it’s actually rejecting the surface
I think it’s still decent ink, you’ve just gotta think about the surface you write on like you should with basically any ink.
Yeah absolutely. I know in the video here I propelling sound generally pretty critical of it, but I tested it on a hard surface on purpose to sorta test the name of it haha. Contrary to popular belief probably I actually really like this ink. I find it's best mixed with paints though more than anything. That usually brings out its real character haha
Really interesting video, if you haven't you should review otr hard to buff ink.
Haven't made a review of that one yet, but it's definitely on the horizon!
@@ScizGraffiti I find the ink to work really well, especially in the 004 Bullet
That's nice to hear especially after trying so many thin paints in the bullet and it not really working so well. Will have to try that
@@ScizGraffiti yeah. Really curious if it really does say what's it's name is "Hard to buff" and that's "it's a nightmare for cleaning crews" would hope it's up to it's name and description.
@@urbexking8741 how’s that bullet marker? Does it leak? It is easy to refill?
I wanted to buy it and in the graffiti store they told me it wasnt that buff proof so ended up just buying cans. Btw can u do "Doi" for the next video
Will add Doi to my list for a future one!
I wrote on a painted surface and it ghosted numerous buff attempts. This was several years ago so maybe new formula?
I think it more depends on the surface and how long it stays before buffing. This was a hard surface and I didn't want days or weeks. I have buffed it on an unfinished surface and it wasn't much better to be honest but I would bet if it had at least a few days then it'd start to leave a better ghost maybe. that's the only thing I can think of
may sound weird but i like to tag on laterns because in my city no one tags there
Finn’s test the bpi
Yo dawg could you do a russian roulette ink review next? (Try and buff that, it should leave a big ghost tag)
Will have to check it out! Thanks man
@@ScizGraffiti no worry's, much love dawg!
Ive once tried marble with a mop😍
WoW! Super! Who know what better BPI or FMP?💣
It sorta depends on what you like. The paint is super thick for a paint and the ink is actually pretty thick for an ink as well. I really like the cooler tones of the fmp but I find the warmer colours are a bit transparent to be honest. The bpi has a very nice tone in most colours I've seen, but I've only used blue and red. The bpi is better against an active buff most of the time but the fmp lasts super long in all weather in my experience. So those are sort of the pros and cons that I can give at least. Hopefully that helps!
its not buff proof but it is really strong, me and my friends tagged a wall not long ago, they both used seperate ink to me and i used grog bpi and mine lasted waaaayyy longer
That's a great way to test some inks out haha. Yeah on some surfaces it certainly lasts wayyyy long
I have this ink so this was helpful (;
And 5:30 what is the song called? I love it but i cant find it.
🤝❤️
Nice glad it's helpful. As for the song, it's one of the ones in the yt library. Totally free, but I can't find the name
I wonder if by buff proof, they meant that if you put paint over it it will bleed through
Pretty much all inks will bleed through pretty easily, so I doubt that's what they meant. But for what it's worth, this one does bleed through quite professionally.
OTR has a new formula "marker" paint, not their old soultip stuff. you should buy some and review it, there are no reviews of it on yt
will definitely be giving it a look :)
Wrong surface 😂 a tile ain’t gonna eat the ink to give you a ghost when buffed…
It wasn't tile though...
Need more freight videos. It’s been a min
2 are filmed and will be coming your way in the near future
If you want the mops to drip to the floor without any pressure then take out that piece of plastic in the the nib
im doing a review on the buff proof too hahahaha ill release the video after the weather test...
What up!!! 💪🎨💣
i saw my tags washed off (not completely) but idc because i had so much fun with this ink
That's the much more important thing I'd say haha
They should of used dot 3 to make it buff proof
MY PSYCHE HIT OFF 🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️❤️❤️
:)
gotta wonder if that tremclad stuff would make a good cap cleaner
Someone else mentioned that too. definitely something on my list to try!
Is Flux better?
you should try the "vandal black almond", a real hard to buff ink from Russian roulette 🙏🙃
will have to check it out! Thanks for the tip man
Vandal is the best 💯
It only buffed like that because it was done on tiles it was a glossy surface if you did it on the wall behide it i bet it wouldn’t buff like that
Yo bro can i refill a otr 003 soultip with this ink? Pls answer i will appreciate it
Yeah, no reason why you can't. Any mop marker will be able to be filled with this ink
can i use buff proof ink for a 15 mm grog cutter?
yeah it'll flow just fine!
Glass best surface when clean
Very Sad
Butt Good Video 👌🏽
I ain't hopping Trains in the city circle to get buffed instantly. If it doesn't stain hard I marswel stay at home 😂
Hey, I enjoy your content. But I think you are wrong about the bpi. You tested it on glazed tile, which is pretty much the same as glass however, if you were to use it on a painted surface, I think your results would be much different.
Definitely discuss the surfaces you can get some decent bleed throughs on them plastic electric boxes and they take a few layers to buff
Also you diddnt buff it you more rubbed it with alcohols lol so is that buff? Or more graffiti removal I thought buff was more or less always paint besides high pressure hoses for trains ect
Edit ps blue is naturally a pretty weak colour must blue inks will probably have the same results.
I did discuss the different surfaces in the video :)
can u also do the otr hard to buff test
It's definitely one that'll be coming at some point in the near future!
I feel like thats a wrong surface cuz it cant really seep into it you should try actually surfaces that people usually tag on i never seen a tag with a mop on tile
can i put this ink in pump markers?
Yeah it'll work fine for that. Just make sure you won't want to put anything else in the marker after cause it'll of course stain the nib
I love tagging street signs
Have you tested grog street killer ?
Haven't tested it out actually, sorry to say
That's just a bite off of Higgins for marsh ink
GOT GROG METAL HEAD
can you do a buff test on flux ink / mop buff test?
Will have to check it out! It'll depend n if I can get some to my location for a not too bad price mostly
Flux ink is real good
Ok so please tell me the difference between a male / female can
A male can is one where the stem sticks out of the can like rustoleum cans and a female valved spray can is one where the stem is on the cap instead like ironlak or Montana or molotow cans if that makes sense. The buffing material I used in this video is a female can 🙃
Can i put this in markers?
It will definitely flow just fine through any bullet tip or chisel tip
It's clear that it's easy to buff on smooth surfaces🙄,no matter what ink or ink
czcams.com/users/shortsdhWMBtht9Rs check out the inkredible ink buff and the ball pen fluid buffs we did on the exact same surface
Magic ink is da bomb diggity
Rustoleum owns tremclad they are the ogs of female cans
Oooooooo tile!.... errr.... shower wall type pvc sheeting? Either way 👍🏿
yeah sort of poly plastic right now, but there will be some more changes to the area soon as well :)
Try OTR hard to buff instead, in my experience it's much better. ;)
I've got my eyes on it for sure :) One for the future
Better in what way? I’m looking into trying different types of INK I just luv the variety of INKs 👌🏽. So that being said what color do you use and what do you use the INK in? IE mop , marker ETC. Is it your go to INK?
@@bravopapa137 Where I am, the black color is the only one available. Might be more colors but idk, I use it with the Molotow dripsticks, works great. Stains hard as f*ck. Hard to get rid of with even acetone and MEK. Perfect pigment and consistency
@@bravopapa137 My go to ink is homemade with industrial pigments and stainers, I've got a contact in the paint industry so its cheap.
@@NitrobenzeneNO3 can’t go wrong with black 👌🏽. Definitely gonna try out the OTR Hard To Buff INK in that case , the more the buffer has to struggle getting it off the less they wanna do it. And about the drip stick what size do you use and prefer? Has it leaked from the back portion on you at all? I’ve heard plenty about these drip sticks leaking...
Buff proof or not, grog ink has that nice flow.
Definitely true! Seems a bit more consistent and a bit thicker than a typical ink to me. Definitely a ton of fun
Depends on colors... Most exotics one like fluo pink, green ecc are pure shit... Got in mobs... Totally disappeared after some months...
After that I suggested go whit your pilot jumbo and when its ink over add some shoe back tincture... Not nero d inferno just go to ur local leather dude and take it to him... Less expensive, unbuffable, after Years tags don't disapppers always seems done the day before...(p.s. It's toxics as fuck and highly cancerous)
Remeber whit this ink taking joke of train cleaners which basically delete the internal train paint but not my tags..
If u like MOP just buy an empty bottle of groog and charge whit it...or buy a krinka do a bunch of fancy tags whit his Ink then refill whit leather ink..
Me personally except the pilot jumbo and kirk.. I don't find any of those graffiti companies enjoyable for 3 simply reason :
1) ink/paint are terrible
2) overpriced
3) tags disappear after few months (whiteout human intervention)
4)most of them after few tags are immediately empty.
This stuff bleeds like mad.
It took a month of them painting over one of my tags every single day before it had enough layers to cover it out.
It does have a great bleed through capability
yo nice vid, hit me kostan in the next vis please👍
Will throw Kostan on my list again :)
but isent that a glass surface? or is it plastic i mean smother things are easyer to buff. this surface is very unfare for the grog. now don't think im a grog fam becouse if the buffman wants the buff its gonna happen so i just buy the cheapest ink that i can find if i need a good "buff proff" and the cheapest paint if i need something more vibraint
The surface was a finished plastic polymer which is a lot easier to buff in general. I agree with you though, which is sorta what I was trying to say at the end. No matter what, the buffman tends to get his way, so I find it best to use some relatively inexpensive stuff and do more tags as well
buff proof ink my ass i just sprayed some deodorant on the tag i had on my desk and it went away easily
Can you do a throw up of brain damage!
Glass and freight metal
Testing a dye based ink on a non-porous surface, what did you expect? It’s basically no different than testing it on glass. Should have tested it on brick, painted drywall, painted stone or bare stone etc. maybe a steel surface as well. But certainly not a tile like surface that’s coated like that
czcams.com/users/shortsQKNj7mFtYKs
0:48 That’s what she said.
This ink fades in the sun! 😡 took only a day!
i dont was outside with my markers yet (imma starter) but i think glass and metal is nice cause i got grog cutter 15xfp and grog squeezer 2omm fmp
I've always really liked using chisel tips on glass just cause it feels so nice, but I know a lot of people avoid glass since the ink doesn't really take to it so well. Definitely down to personal preference :)
@@ScizGraffiti yesterday i do my first tag outside! i make it on a smooth surface on a power box and it wasnt that hard i tought it would be

Just about any ink ill bleed through a paint, and yes this one does too
10:43 am I the only one who heard "PPI"?

Your test surface is too slick, take some 400 grit sand paper to it and wash it really well and you should get better paint adhesion. Thats also why glass is so easy to buff.
Glass
I'm really not surprised asatone took it off at all. I use it all the time for cleaning brushes and using it for stuff like chipping. Hair spray is also good for chipping
Edit: but yea they shouldn't of called it buff proof
I beg you try this but bugspray will buff anything
haha that's interesting. I talked to a restaurant owner who said that just cooking oil would buff just about anything as well. I bet there's a few good things out there
bruh, of course your gonna buff it. Ink is not even suposed to be used on a whiteboard. it cant even soak into the surface its to laminated.
You gotta check the many other comments where I addressed this. Also there's a buff test on tje non laminated surface in the otr bullpen fluid video I did recently and it ain't much different 🤷🏻♂️ but you should give it a look
Bro. All you have to do is fuckin say how it stands against the Og rusto /‘ paint thinner and krink black. Any real bombers can make their decision by that . How does it stand against Krink black and the pre krink rusto mix
