Just a word of warning - if you touch both the centre positive pin and the negative terminal when you insert the wire you will short the battery and the wire may well weld itself across the terminals. If you are lucky & the charger input is fused you will blow the fuse. A cheap battery will probably not have a fuse so best case is you blow the BMS - worst case is your battery goes into melt down or blows up. This fix is not recommend unless you are tired of living!

I'm having an issue with the cable that plugs into the electric battery itself I kicked it and it got stuck inside of the battery plug-in on the bike battery. The metal piece got stuck and no longer and it broke off of the actual cord from the 48 volt lithium ion battery charger
Good salvage. Better to apply a tiny bit of dielectric grease to the plug every six months as normal maintenance or use a product, such as spray CRC contact cleaner and lubricant - provides lubrication and prevent corrosion but won't create a short circuit.
The gray end of my charger ripped off. Do you know anyway to fix it?
That is Bodge mate, if the battery goes up in smoke, it’ll take the Aluminium bike with it as well.. false economy.for safety sake I’d get a new one Green Cell sell them for £225 in the Uk, I know because I bought a spare last year.Also you need a new Rubber Triangle to keep the weather out, and I bought a stretchy Battery Cover (waterproof) last year so this will double protect it..
Hi I bought a cyclotricity stealth MTB for parts or repairs
not knowing what was wrong with it more than the shop said they could get to charged or light up and it had been with them for more than a 1 year
Turns out it had the same charging port issue so I opened the pack which someone had already done and replaced the charging block with A XT90 Connector by cutting A hole out next to the led battery leavel lights but all and soldering it's mating side of XT90 Connector also onto the wall charger itself too
Work fine although 6 hour waiting time to full charge seem slow (I never do this and leave unattended by sleeping or it in another Room )
the bicycle is grate for getting around and out and about to much feather places than I'd normally go
I'm now looking at next time build another battery bank or a bigger one for ultimate distance coverage in day on waiting time (6hrs )
Back brakes disk alignment and tyer change to done I've essentially got almost ebike for gamble at little to almost nothing but could well been a raspberry

this type of replacement fix it maybe much safer the less of fire risk to you your running risk could burn your home down onec those cell catch their not easy to out
It only be a little soiling or used a few "WAGO 221 Self locking connector used by electrian's
XT90 Connector can be bought from most mobbing shops which sell batteries for kit model quad copter / drones / 4x4 model off road cars .
U will a set which is male & female
The wego fast connectors from electrical supply these where used because they tiny and come either 2/3 fitting to join each cable without soldiering
XT90 will need heat shrink wrap before insolation tape Ingatestone wall charger end so no need to chuck out your existing unit just soilderthis yellow XT90's
Pretty clever idea .....Just got an X go 13 amp battery for my cyclotricity stealth .Fits into the holder perfectly and runs the bike .....Ps anybody let me know the correct charging procedure .Do you switch the battery off then plug in the socket for the charger ? Thanks .
1) Make sure Battery is off the frame, and that the red switch is turned OFF. 2) Plug in charger but don’t press mains switch on yet… 3)Plug charger lead into Battery. (You may get a little spark as it goes in). 4)make sure it’s all ( charger and battery) on a hard floor preferably ceramic tiles and not carpet with charger LED facing up so you can see what stage it’s at. 5) Turn ON at mains power and light should be RED, and after 5-7 hours it should turn GREEN when it’s fully charged, but do not charge on carpet or soft furnishings or wood, and charge in a well ventilated area, that is DRY.

@@benjleath9406 Cheers for the info pal .Since then I bought another 2 batteries ..an x go and another one (cant remember name) They are fine .Same range ...The 29er stealth is something else as a road bike .The rear spokes loosened after 500 miles .Fixed myself .I bought a 1000/250 kit with 26" wheel for my montague paratrooper .First bike was STOLEN by Hermes ....Although the stealth and the paratrooper both have the same motors the stealth is MUCH faster .Must be the big wheels although the paratrooper as a total off road machine is incredible man.Itswell worth converting a paratrooper .Have 2 batteries set on rails on back rack so change over when one dies. Schwalbe mixed smooth rolling and knobbly on outside for slick road rolling .Glad I did complete the project and also put clark hydraulic brakes on 40 quid each .Worth every penny man .Boys and their toys .Thanks again.
@@crafter170 Yeah I’ve had my Cyclotricity Stealth 500 watt since 2020, and now I’ve done nearly 3000 miles on it, absolutely chuffed to bits with her, Two month’s of owning it back in 2020 I was diagnosed with MS, had to re-learn how to ride a bike again because after a bad attack I could hardly balance, but I’m on treatment now and back to how I was before, Mine had a wobbly back wheel but tightened spokes, and kept getting rear punctures so I got a slime tube and a tyre liner in each wheel,I’ve also replaced the bottom bracket sealed cartridge. It’s a Good bike and always gets me where I want,Mine has mountain king tyres 2.3 and it still does 75 miles on pas mode 1,I just don’t leave it anywhere for a second though, or else it’ll be gone !!!
