Karens undeniably suck, but this smells a little fishy. Was this dog off leash? It sounds like the dog was off leash. Leash laws exist for a reason. My mother was a boomer and survived a dog attack at a young age and if she saw an off leash dog, she would be absolutely fearful that’s why I wondered if this reaction was from fear and not just some woman wanting everything her way because she suffers from main character syndrome. There have been a few times I my leashed dogs almost got into a fight with other dogs that were off leash that ran up to us because got ahead of their human. Every time the people say, “they’re nice, they’re behaved.” They’re dogs. My partner had an off leash dog actually try to attack him and had he not had tracking poles it could’ve gone very badly for him. Leash laws exist for a reason. Keep your dogs leashed when you are out with them. It is for their safety and for the safety of others.
