VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
Colin and Ashley have gone back and forth between half-converted vans and box trucks to finally complete their home on wheels in a 1999 Bluebird school bus. It took over 2 1/2 years to finish their rig, and it's worth the time with the amount of thought and detail! The layout is open and functional, especially considering they have a toddler and a dog.
This converted skoolie has a split bath with a roof raise and skylight directly over the shower space. The wood-burning stove is elevated, therefore out of reach, and all drawers have child safety locks. Zephyr, the son, has a bunk secured with a custom piece of woodwork and plenty of storage for his books.
You'll find a five-burner stove and a tankless water filtration in the kitchen with an L-shaped couch diving the living area. This tiny home on wheels is gorgeous while maintaining a practical living space for this adorable family of three.

This has to be the most thought out bus build I have ever seen. When most people do one, somewhere something goes lacking because they were unable to configure the layout properly. I really believe Collins calling in home design, layouts and building. I would love to see the layouts he came up with for vans and cargo truck he built-out. Absolutely Amazing.

Wow! This is the most beautiful schoolie I have ever seen! I love those 45* angles. They add such interest to the layout. The mosaic fireplace surround is not only brilliant, but gorgeous! You probably will never see this but my conscience won’t let me not send it. I didn’t catch hold old you little baby is but please be careful of chocking/strangulation hazards inside his crib area. Toddlers are amazingly fast and curious 👀, always exploring. Your bus is GORGEOUS! So beautifully done. Some real talent there.

A very impressive build. The attention to detail is excellent, Ashley's art pieces and the personalised design on the exterior give the bus a gorgeous and personalised aesthetic. Its just amazing how I see the transformations of these buses and how beautiful and homey they become,..I would without a doubt so be into living in a bus...I do though have to give ya'll and others with kids some high fives. I personally could not do it with kids....mommy would need lots of drinks to get through her day...lol

A beautiful home with a beautiful family! Zephr = what a wonderful name!! Looking at his gorgeous hair, he looks like "a gentle breeze". You cracked me up saying you didn't know how to use the chemex = we love our chemex - it takes out all the bitterness of any coffee [ and we just use folgers! ] - just put the filter in it, add however much coffee you want, maybe 2 scoops per cup? Boil the water, then pour it over the coffee and let it drip = delicious!! Keep enjoying your life, with every moment an adventure. Sending you light, love, peace, joy and abundance always! I love you.

The only thing that I see that could be a potential hazard to the littles guy is the toaster oven being so low! I think I would have put that up on the counter space!

Very nice ! I could see two people living in it but three and two animals seems small but that’s just because I’m a claustrophobic and so I need space! Lol. You both did a really great job and I wish I had thought of something like this 30 yrs ago so I could have traveled with my boys. Enjoys both.

Wow how beautiful. Their home has everything that they need and more! It's a shame they never put solar power in the bus cos with the size of the roof they could have got loads of panels on there this allowing/letting them be off grid. However they are happy and content with getting power as they do.

I love this build! This adorable couple have really thought about their son in every aspect of the build which is so good to see. You watch some conversion tours where the kids have no space and are given the tiniest area to play. This build is very safe for that super cute lil boy. All the best to this family!
