Hey Arty, good to see a new vid. I’ve seen a few yellow FJ’s around Sydney lately and wonder if it’s you. Now I’ll know if I see the top corner lights!
Regarding the lights, were you getting too much bounce off the bonnet? Video makes the reflection off the bonnet like quite bright, how was it to your eye?
My FJ is pretty unique… you should be able to spot it a mile away 😂. It didn’t bother be. It was quite easy on the eye. Not sure if I’ll keep them in that position, but for now (and the next trip), they will remain there.

I can see why you do not like your spotlights as they are uslees. My 9 jnch Kings Led's are much better. Do you have those new lights hooked to your highbeam?
No, they are simply connected to a 12V ignition source. I’m not sure if floodlights are subject to the same rule as for spotlights… but as I’m writing this, I’m realising that perhaps it would be better to hook them up to high beam, just like the spotlights are… just in case I get stopped.
Your awning is negating the purpose of putting your light in that position.
And your spotties aren’t adjusted properly 🤔
