Footage gathered from the SW side of Houston. Cars floating down streets, people stranded on medians that were turned into islands. I assisted a few people getting around in the flooding with my boat. Flooding caused by hurricane beryl.
If your from Houston you already know there will be someone who doesn't listen to anyone and will risk it all then beg for help.
🎯💯
You’re not your
Happens everywhere. Idiocy rules.
Most of these cars and trucks in the water are insurance jobs .
@@mru5170 yup. especially uber /lyft drivers
People should have stayed Home and off the roads. Period! it’s a Cat1 in Houston so it’s guaranteed to be a flood event.
Houston was once a swamp, doesn't take much for it to turn back into one.
Yeah luckely it wasn't like Harvey
How long does the flood take to clear?
@@soledoutny231 day, its already cleared
@@HtownTejano713not everywhere. Allen Parkway is still under water. Just drove by
I've been in Houston for most of my life (around 50 years). I've experienced the following tropical storms/hurricanes: Alicia, Alison, Ike, Rita, Harvey, and now Beryl (there could be others that i've forgotten about). Thank God in this hurricane we kept power and only lost half of our backyard fencing. Over a million people in Houston are still without power and tomorrow is supposed to be around 92 degrees (and probably 100% humidity). I am grateful that we were this fortunate. Many of mine and my wife's friends/coworkers/families are without power now, and one lost a section of their roof during the peak of the storm and have severe water damage in their house now. I've offered for friends/family to stay with us, but nobody has accepted yet. Prayers out to all in the area.
Nicholas 2021 too
Katrina
@@mariomosqueda1015 Yeah, Katrina was very bad. Probably only 2nd to the Great Galveston Hurricane of 1900 as far as loss of life. But Katrina did not have any effects in the Houston area. It was mainly Mississippi and Louisiana. I have a step-brother who went through it in Mississippi. It was VERY BAD!
I lived in Houston right now
Same story. I've been through every single hurricane you've been through + the freeze in 2021 and have never had my power out or any damage during in hurricane. This Beryl took my power for 5 hours and came back on the next day. I am praying for all who are affected AS WELL.
That's A LOT of water. One has to wonder what Beryl as a Cat 5 was like hitting those Caribbean islands, must have been Horrific. Stay Safe Everyone.
This hurricane was a little bit more serious than I thought it would be. You guys better think you’re lucky stars this wasn’t a category five hurricane
I was praying a record number of Hail Mary’s last night. If that was a Cat 1, God help us with a bigger one!
Definitely underestimated. My lights have never went off not even for a hurricane category 5 but went off for this I'm guessing it's the wind.
Was barely a cat. I can u imagine anything higher
Even a 2 would be terrible
We have entered into a new season. This one’s evil. Stay safe and prepare for the unexpected. Watchman warning. Eyes on Jesus people. If you don’t believe, I suggest you choose today as the day❤️🕊️
I'm so glad you have a boat.
I love the guy in red trying to go to the grocery store in the middle of all this!! I don't think they will be open...
How is he going to get home?🤔
He takes selfies so he is the most important man in the world. Of course the store will be open for him.
@@Speed00007 😂😂😂
Kroger is open! Houston is hard core. This hurricane was easy! I went to Kroger in the middle of town near Rice University to get charcoal to grill all my meat in the freezer, before it spoils. We eating good tonight. I even bought some ice and a small ice chest to put my bacon and eggs and milk, for breakfast tomorrow morning on the grill in my cast iron skillet! We will probably have no electricity for at least a few days to a few weeks because trees are down all over the place. About two million people do not have power.
People are so pitiful….won’t listen…can’t go without goodies one day.
Wow, that was very nice of you to help these people get out of the water. Made me happy to see a stranger going out of his way just to help. Way to go dude! May God richly bless you!😊
God bless you all for helping!
I'd be in a boat saving all the animals. 😢
My face would be in ur poon
Me too. ❤
Animals are smart enough to find cover in this type of weather so we don't need you here
Me too 😢
by animals??? are you referring to the sheeple people???
When they say "stay home" and you don't listen, you should rescue YOURSELF! 💯
Agree 100%!!!😲😲😲
💯💯💯💯💯💯
exactly
Six people have died in Harris County \/ Houston /\ Hurricane Beryl Category One Five of those people died from trees falling on their residence. One was a Police Officer who drowned in his vehicle on his way to work and couldn't get a hold of anyone at his work.
Five stayed home and died as a result of oak trees falling on them
I live in Texas , we got lots rain and gust of wind but nothing like what Houston got , praying for everyone effected by this storm , God Bless .
TRUCKERS PASSING THROUGH HOUSTON VIA 610 WEST LOOP STARING AT THE SKYSCRAPERS
Thanks LSM! Houston always floods for the least bit of rain.
CLEARLY THAT WAS ALOT OF RAIN SMH
Why were they driving around when there were several hurricane warnings? Just asking.
Had to go send money back to Mexico.
The stupidity
Idoits at their best. 😅
Probably tired of car payments they have smh
Here's the harsh facts about immigrants. The taxes they pay just in buying consumer goods ALONE is more tax than the billionaire class pays in their income tax. Yes, you heard that right. Billionaires pay ZERO in income taxes. ZERO. And here's the cherry on top. THEY GET SUBSIDIZED EVERY SINGLE QUARTER. MEANING THEY GET MILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN "HANDOUTS" EVERY QUARTER OR THEY WOULD GO BANKRUPT.
These ghouls are laughing all the way to the bank because they own the media. The same media that tells you to hate your immigrant neighbors...
Maybe one day we can wake up swe who the real enemy is. Cuz it sure as hell ain't Jorge working his ass off on the roof down the street in the middle of the summer.
Very nice of you to help those people who need help
Uber-boat. Be safe Houston. Get out of the water. It’s not safe.
I lived in Houston for a year and watched people in boats after storms. Ugly ones, dark skies..
Ummm....didn't they know Beryl was coming? People just don't get any smarter, do they? STAY HOME OFF THE ROADS FFS.
You can’t fix stupid
Stay safe everyone! Thank you to the guy helping others. For future reference, please listen to the news, forecasts and stay home.
The stores were open ALLLLL weekend. Plenty of time to stock up to the rafters with ice, food, snacks, drinks, batteries, portable solar chargers, fill up gas tank, etc etc
Even if I live to be 800 hundred million years old, I will never understand those that NEED to wander for random shit during a major weather event.
You should film the car dealerships to see if the 2024’s are flooded!!😅
🤣💯
They will dry them with hair dryers and put them back on the lot with a markup...
Flooded cars will be in a dealership near you in Mexico 😂😂
GRACIAS.....
Or in the states
No funny 😏
Look INSIDE door panel for water damge
They're termed flood cars.
This was my first hurricane, and I hope it's my last. Can't believe my roof was blown off. I'm from Tornado Alley and never have I ever.😢 The winds blew for hours, and I couldn't sleep.
Glad you're ok
@@billiehill6639 Thank you
man get your smokes before the storm lol wtf
Good time to quit with the smokes...
I love this guy all cool in his boat lol.
Houston is like new orleans
Let’s pray for more rain.
Toilet Bowl!
@DeoVindice85 you can say anything online. Shows how gutless you are. Come on to H-Town and spit that game
dumpster fire?
Because 1/2 of New Orleans moved here after Katrina.
Maybe if we stopped giving money to every Tom, Dick and Harry all over the world we could afford drainage ditches and dams to help stop this mess.
Would not matter, Houston is built on top of a swamp.
🙏🙏🙏
But then it won’t benefit the one percent 1% 😮😮😮
Well you have a city to size a Houston what's the elevation of 8 to 12 ft above, then you cover the entire Place nearly with concrete. Was an extra high tide in 5 to 10 in of rain. All the low spots are pretty much going to f****** flood. After 40 years in Galveston this is just a normal day. Don't need a hurricane for this to happen. Get the front to come in with a high tide. It generally all gone in about 6 hours
The entire state of Texas has already given billions to Houston in 2019 for drainage. The state voted on it 9:1. Maybe Houston just isn't the right place to develop houses lol
Thank you for being so brave and kinf
Houston is very low lying and floods often in big storms. I was able to drive around on the south beltway many years ago when most roads and freeways were closed by flooding. Not a hurricane, but lots of rain. Friends and family are also dealing with heavy flooding because of too much rain this summer. Stay safe out there. Here in the Philippines, I have experiences one super typhoon a couple of years ago. So much damage.
All i can think of is, why😮
people were silly not being somewhere save, making sure that they cars were safe and not having enough food and water home...
You are a good man. God bless you sir
Houston have been sinking for years due to ground water being pumped out. Now it just a bowel where water goes in and just slowly drained out. SO, flooding will always be a concerned for years to come.
When have Houston ever been a bowl u got that from new Orleans
I lived in Houston 20 years. Houston just floods because it's so flat and everything drains to Galveston Bay. When a hurricane pushes water into the bay everything backs up! Notice the buildings are high and dry about three feet above grade. The city has designed the roads and parking lots to flood first. They act as a reservoir until the drains catch up. The guy giving rides in the boat was pretty funny.😂
i'll never understand how someone can get stuck in this just stay off the roads lmao
Ikr, the stores were open ALLLLL weekend, plenty of time to stock up. I will never understand those that need to wander for random shit during major weather events.
No common sense
@user-gw3jt3wh1i
You nailed it! 🏆
Typical W. Bellfort @ 59
Just passed thru there yesterday and it was not like this anymore
I was born and raised in Houston and I have been in countless hurricanes, floods, tornadoes 🌪️ and other disasters that have impacted Houston and the rest of the state. I have never ever underestimated the power of nature.
Houston, where you can catch your limit of fish from the cab of your pickup truck.
😂😂😂🐟
If you noticed this is how people in the red States treat one another the call brother and sister wherever they can do to help one another out they call them sir or ma'am and they are respectful to one another and help each other out in difficult times no matter who it is because they'd want that done to them. However if you go up to the north if it's worse situation no one's going to stop to help you no one's going to ask you if you need help it's going to be every person for themselves because Northerners are very they think unless it's happening to them they don't have to help another person not doing a difficult time like this but if it were their family or their loved ones they would get outraged if nobody stepped in to help them out but they would never hesitate to not help out somebody they'd be in Reverse you know I know that cuz I've had issues where I would think somebody would come and help me out my neighbor after I've helped them out with leaves and snow and Lawn and everything and then in my time I need when I needed help being in and out of the ER for a medical kidney situation did I get any help from my neighbor know they wanted like 300 plus dollars to mow my lawn and weed whack and side trim and it's kind of like I have helped you guys out for 6 years since I moved in and I've never asked for a dime from y'all but when I need help you're going to bitch and complain that my lawn is mowed because I've been in and out of the yard because of a kidney situation and tell me that you're going to put down weed killer that could possibly make my service dogs sick and my pants that I have sick and it's kind of like how conceited entitled are they but they expect everyone else to stop at the drop of the house when they're going through a rough patch a difficult time that people are going to stop and help them out yet they won't help others out and that's something that I've noticed in the north that is how people treat one another ever once a while you get a few good apples but a lot of them are entitled conceited bad apples unless it's happening to them they got the phones recording but they're not going to lend a hand I'm grateful for my one neighbor who's not my retired service dog out while I've been at ER for my kidney situation but it's kind of like I'd rather live in Texas than live in the North because first of all I'm a Conservative Christian and raised does a God-fearing woman and Believe In The Commandments believe in living a modest life and yet I see you around me these people who have lost their faith in God lost their faith in Jesus lost her faith in general and are so entitled conceded that something like this hurricane let's see if it happened in Michigan I guarantee you people wouldn't be saying brother sister can I help you out is there anything I can do for you let me get you to the grocery store no instead of me everyone for themselves and to show up and see they are they expect you to help them out but they would never step in to help you out it's a double standard and that is why although I was raised by my Southern grandmother when she came up to the north live with my parents and I I am so proud of how Northern Northerners treat one another difficult times when we should all be working together and helping one another and not being so petty but unfortunately it's like they're going to try to milk you for money rather than helping you for free but they expect that you would do the same for them but for free it's really sad there's a completely different mentality towards how people behave in natural disasters in the north compared to the South and it's very clear and it's really disheartening it's like it's not worth living up in the north side and I told my family when I can I would probably move down south I'm just tired of it I help people out I give them a shirt off my back I do anything to make everybody else's life better during difficult times and clean my neighbors but if you're not going to turn around and do the same are towards one another and not all are but unfortunately a lot of them are and that includes you can't rely on your neighbors during difficult times. God bless you man and I hope all y'all are safe down there praying for all y'all
We finally understand what the bad side of the storm looks and feels like
Gracias gracias gracias por ayudar
All these vehicles will be in used car lots on the east coast real soon.
And way overpriced
West Bellfort and 59. It's flooded like that since '76 when we moved here.
*1 or 2 needed needed to get not to get food or water but the Smoke Shop..................*
Texans helping Texans. That's what we're about.
We're the best on Earth.. without a doubt.
Houston is strong
Houston is in my prayers!
Talking to family in Waller Texas yesterday they were hunkering down. Taday they say they are all okay.
Same thing happened during Hurricane Harvey, people thought it wouldn't be as serious, and it was. We lost our place and the car and that was it for me. left in 2017....stay safe and dry out there
I’ve lived in Houston all my life never will understand people that don’t move there vehicles to higher ground or people that drive into standing water
Is all the poop gone now?
Prayers.
Literally just passed theu there yesterday , thank god its not flooded like that no more
Praying for all of you! Seek Jesus!
Oh Kim... hahahahaha...
@@brenthenderson3983ICK chocolate candy bar with almonds the heck with Jesus😂
All the cars and homes filled with water so sad pray that all are safe down there
That’s the way to do it. If you live in a flood zone you better have a boat.
This hurricane snuck up on alot of people. The news kept on saying it was going to hit near the border region, or maybe San Antonio...well they were wrong.
Cars! O my god, the cars are caught in the water! Somebody, somewhere, do something! Those poor cars!
I still don't know why people choose to live in these known flood areas... I live in Energy Corridor/Katy area. Never had a problem and the stores are still open. Able to get gas and my power is still on. It's crazy how everyone knows the potential of flooding, yet people don't think disaster will ever come their way.
Not a choice, those areas are affordable
We just moved to cypress from Downtown area ! Hey neighbor 🙋🏻♀️
We have water, lights, and no flooding. Heavy rain and wind though!
Where is this boat?
Necesitees
You must not have been in Katy during Harvey. They may not have flooded, but many homes had to be gutted from wind driven rain! It is something anywhere on Earth. It is still mankind against nature. 😮
Where is this?
that was Kool help people get out.🤘💯
Please, why would someone go into the middle of a hurricane and four feet of water to film for his social media and the other man is going grocery shopping???
All in the name of the all mighty clicks n' likes
I would have parked my car on high ground then stayed in my home
This could have turned into a slow-moving cat 5. You wouldn't have to worry about getting to the store. Or the alligators that's going to eat you.,.
This looks like Y-Square @ 59 & W. Bellfort?
Complementary raft rides.
Cool stuff.
They will get the bill in a couple of weeks in the mail...
This filming is in Harris County,Texas ( \/ Houston \/ ) from Hurricane Beryl . Six people died. 5 who stayed home and trees fell on them - resulting in their deaths . One was a Houston Police Officer who drowned on his way to work - unable to get ahold of anyone :-. This Hurricane landed in the County next to Harris County,Texas.
Wow, this is crazy.
Texas is a state more people should move to. No taxes, great weather, unlimited guns, HEB, Whataburger. Did I mention great weather?
dont forget the greatest people :)
Where is that in Houston? I have family off of Chimney Rock and West Bellfort and also in Stafford. How did SW Houston fare and Stafford/Sugar Land?
That's 59 south and W Belfort. And also Wilcrest and W Belfort. That are always floods like that.
And if you have insurance coverage on your vehicle, this is one way to eliminate a car payment...
What part of Houston is this?
It’s like the streets were built to hold water
❤God bless his Children with love and Good heart that is not selfish
This is unbelievable it's really not hurricane season 😢 something is definitely off about all this I think well never mind. God bless you all.
What county is it ???? 😥😥
It's overwhelming seeing the damage . My brother is in Houston and they have been without power since morning (7/8). He said it is difficult , near impossible to get any details as to when power will be restored. I wish I could do something to help him
What happened they leave? It happened so quick. They didn't give no warning or were these people driving around?
West Bellfort and US 59/Southwest Freeway area, it seems.
I need to learn how to swim.
Wow! What part of town is this?
West Bellfort and 59S.
Be safe
H-Town!
Dios guarde a cada Ser humano con su mano de Poder❤
Whoever owns that white van was upside down as hell on that car. I also drive with the windows down in hurricanes
Going to the smoke shop??
The lengths people go to for a cigarette. I doubt the smoke shop was open. Gotta prepare ahead!
Why dont they elevate texas?
Those businesses are so lucky to stay dry

I’m 18 & new to history or newly found the love of history. I asked my grandfather about this but he gave me an explanation I don’t think I can repeat....
Why do people throughout history give J€w$ a hard time? And do they deserve it?

Nice guy
Oh I know exactly where that is - strip center with the smoke shop, check cashing place, and taco truck out front.. there’s only so many places in Houston that fit this description.
Wow. 😳
Sorry, I just broadcasted it.
Wish I wasn't there
Tropical storm allison in 2005 was worse than this and it wasn’t even a damn hurricane. I guess because im born and raised here I know what comes along with this mess and know how to stay out of harms way…
Tow trucks are fast taking vehicles away. Wish the power companies were the same with the lights.
