@@ElMachoGringo47 These are matches on Dark and Dark: Elevation from the past, Kenny was not champion when he had that match against Janela as it was in October 2019. Chris Jericho was AEW champion back then.

The evolution of the women's division, and more specifically DMD, is pretty astronomical, in a relatively short time.
AEW has a sick ladles division. Some of them just have to get their ring awareness up.
The division has evolved? What, from having one match a week on Dynamite to having one match a week on Dynamite and Rampage?
And you think that two years of that strict one-women's-match-per-TV-show policy not changing (save for the addition of a new show on TV) is "a relatively short time"?
@@Symon2099 im not sure of which show it was, but recently there were more womens matches then mens on the card. They are definitely putting more work/attention to the women's division. So i think AEW is definitely making progress to highlight the division especially with the new signings.

La Brava vs Tay Conti was for me the best.. Bravas ring psycholgy in the end was brilliance it made Conti look super powerful.
@@chibiromano5631 For me, Dark Order's Uno, Grayson and Cabana vs HFO's Jack Evans and Private Party is so far my best Dark match. Hate to brag, but I love Trios matches.

Jon Moxley vs Robert Anthony was a banger. Moxley was very technical on this match, showing a side that not everybody knows. Don’t know why he is not always like that, he absolutely can wrestle! The leg work and storytelling were on point.
Really great submission moves and grapples. He should be like that more often.
We could see more of a more of the technical side with the rumored Mox vs Danielson match coming up,
@@questionthemark4982 I personally think Moxley’s winning the tournament because they need someone from the mainstream to put Hangman over and credible to the casual fans, and Danielson isn’t losing to him or Hangman, so, I don’t think it’s gonna happen now
Hiraku's facial expressions are amazing and her fighting style is just as amazing I am a really big fan of Hiraku Shida.
Glad they included Abadon's debut in this Best Of. Everything clicked here: Abadon being so new, but the home crowd loudly cheering for her, Shida selling the gimmick, even Excalibur and Taz getting into the story Shida and Abadon were telling in the ring. Even the end sequence where Abadon defiantly shrieks one last time before Shida finishes her.
I did wish they continued Shida and Abadon feud when Abadon was wanted the title ,Make more longer but I hoping her will come to be a champion or faced Rosemary for a dream match

I'd love to see a collection of promos, skits, and matches from The Initiative as well as the Cutler vs Avalon matches. They had great chemistry together as well as against each other. The books and dice match was legendary.

I’m new here for a few months but as a long time wrestling fan, I appreciate AEW doing something like this. It’s amazing to be able to rewatch history in the matches and the phenomenal commentary that helped build it.

It's crazy to see the growth AEW has made in the last 2 years. The difference is night and day.
i think the thing that i love most about the bucks is how well they’ve cultivated their brand. theyve always been a little cocky and relished the spotlight almost a little too much, and while neither of those are specifically heel traits, they are star traits. theyve made themselves incapable of being mediocre. and their wrestling backs it up with how many memorable and perfect spots they have
Plenty of Hikaru Shida matches should be on this video as well. While she's been unfairly kept from tv for so long up until recent, she's been a star on all the Dark and Elevation shows

I think it's cool that they are revisiting some of the Dark matches from when they all started. I was wondering why they were asking what matches were fan favorites.
I miss the days when all of The Elite were Babyfaces. How things have changed since then. Now, Kip has a box on his head and Kenny is AEW World Champion. Sammy Guevara is TNT Champ. Time has flown.
I can't wait until the Bucks go back to baby faces but I doubt they will for a while. There are so many mote stories they can do as heels especially now with Adam Cole (BAY BAY) back with them.

You can tell with the early omega matches the way hes moving hes not hurt but that run he had with 3 championships took its toll on his body.

He wrestled with a bad shoulder for almost a year. I think he took time off before the belt collecting began.
Omega vs Janela is one of the best matches in ALL of AEW to be honest. It will be remembered in the future, so I hope Janela steps up cuz he still has great potential

Why would the most popular wrestlers perform on anything other than the main shows? Of course most of their matches are on Dynamite or Rampage, it wouldnt make sense to put them on Dark or Elevation, you want your top draws on your top shows.... who doesnt get that? People actually hate on that?

Love the pacing of the shows, no drama, just wrestling, one match after another.
For me, the enjoyment of Dark has always been the enhancement talent and how they perform. Most of the best matches by my standards are perfectly ordinary except for the quality work of the enhancement. Nightmare tapings era matches with Baron Black or with Preston or Alan before they were in the Dark Order.
Cause when the development talent have a good showing they get hired

That Paul Wight match is so much fun. So simple, without a thousands moves and jumps, but you don't need everything to be overly complicated to be fun.
