Yes, he is great just like Darrell Wilson .... but both guys are just too fast and i have to keep replaying. The most difficult part is when they click on a button or anything. Move so fast i cant see what is being clicked on. HOWEVER, everything needed is in this video, i just need to replay parts as needed and take notes. Thank you sir.
Also, in my opinion i made a big mistake trying the Astra theme with the "tech startup" starter template. It is a great theme and a great template, truly, but i think it is wrong for a beginner to start with them. They are so good and full of so much stuff, but you don't as a beginner know what the parts are called to edit them or how they work together.
Im going to make my site from scratch by following this guy's video. Sorry Darrell ... LOL. Just kidding, he is great too.

For the first time, I now understand the 'mechanics' of building a website using WordPress and Elementor, step-by-step. I have built 2 websites and working on the 3rd one. I have tried many service providers before but none could do exactly what I needed and that is why I decided to search for the best ways to learn how to do it myself. I could have saved a lot of money if I started with you earlier, but it's never too late to start all over again by doing it myself or being able to give proper instructions to service providers. I’ve hired out for other websites but have never been very happy with the results (partially because we never paid an arm and a leg for the work). I’ve finally decided to hunker down and start working on them myself. I’ve learned a lot in this tutorial alone and look forward to watching your other videos and applying the knowledge you share. Thank you again for breaking things down into easy and actionable steps!! Great pace and entertaining as well. I actually had to slow down the playback at times (vs. the 2x playback speed necessary for most CZcams videos in this genre)

First off, I cannot thank you enough! You explain things so well and make it all so easy. I have one website that a web developer more or less made me work with him side by side (online) so that the website would be just what I wanted. What an experience. I have wanted to build a website for my new business but haven't been able to find anyone who would work with me like the previous one. Not being that tech savvy, I found WP daunting. Last week I bit the bullet, did a search on building a WP website and saw your video. "I'm a Believer" as the song goes! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU! I was about 2/3 of the way of your 2021 video when you launched this one. I'd like to start over using this theme. How do I go about that? I don 't mind as I'm not in a rush and I feel the practice will pay off in the long run. Thanks in advance!

You should simply be able to go to your Dashboard, then Appearance > Starter Templates and import a new website. Make sure at the last step (the one with many checkmarks), you have the box checked to "remove old templates and install new one" or something like that.
Alternatively, you can reset your WordPress site to default using a plugin such as WP Reset - and then start again from scratch at the 9 minute mark in this video. But the first option usually works well :) then you can double-check your Pages, Posts, and Plugins to make sure you don't have remaining pages from your previous edits that you no longer need.

I actually am a bit partial to DIVI though I love ASTRA and Elementro too. Thanks for your contribution to the community. Absolutely great video. I love how easy to understand you made everything. There is one snag I hit though when following along to create my own website. Dealing with configuring the DNS servers for the website through hostgator is something I wish was included in this video. Apart from that, incredible, valuable, and useful content!

I just wanted to say that I agree! Try Form to Email too, it's a great way to set up forms without writing any code, and it lets you create web forms in under 3 minutes.
I learned wordpress from you back in 2015 when I was fresh out of high school. Since then, I moved onto using webflow mainly. But now, 7 years later, I have a client that insists on using wordpress - so here I am again, ready to learn from the master.

Just wanted to say thank you for creating this 🙌🏻 I used your 2020 tutorial to build my own site as a hobby. My cousin is a single dad raising 2 kids, he owns his own business and has had to rely on word of mouth referrals. This video helped me build him a killer website that he can start getting online leads from! It kills me that agencies charge people like him $5k to build a “brochure” website with the most complex feature being a contact form. Anyways - you helped my cousin provide for his family!!

If you use WordPress.com then you need to upgrade to a business plan in order to install additional themes and plugins but if you use any other hosting like HostGator then you have access to all the free themes and plugins.
Had the same question to. What do you mean by its free if you use host gator? How can I access them for free? Great video btw.

Dude, I wish I would've stumbled onto this a few nights ago. I am starting up a website and when I purchased it and got ready to edit.
