I hate it when it's absolutely compulsory for us to have a notebook for each class and sometimes even two... like, why can't we organise things the way it suits us?
exactly.
Humble Eurus my school doesn't care, it just has to work for us:)
Humble Eurus i got in trouble for using binders
Yeah, but for maths we have to have 4 notebooks-one for homework, 2 for work in class and 1 for geometry
Humble Eurus my Dutch teacher requires 3 a4 notebooks and I need to take them with me almost every lesson (it sucks on a high level)
âif youâre watching this when it comes outâ me four years later : hiđđđ

Ouais cetait si jolie, Ben...la langue et dâaccord, et la cahier a beaucoup de coleurs. Elle travails fort!
In my school (depends on the teacher tho) they've always required to have 1 notebook for each subject so our backpacks were always very heavy. And sometimes for some subjects we only used 4 pages of the notebook we've been carrying around all year!!
Txx rare same :(
Same
Txx rare I feel you đ By the end of the school year, my back will always hurt đąđą
i can relate
Ahahahah
finally an honest video about keeping organised!people make it look like you will magically become more organised when you do DIY s but it just ends up wasting your time sometimes (well, maybe its just me).thank you for the informational video!! :)
+korosensei desu thanks! and no problem! :)
this one seriously inspired me to get more organised, nice video
Prachi Prasad organized
Mini Mixers that's like saying Color isn't spelled Colour, or Grey can't be spelled Gray.
@@theanimalkeaper Oh, are Peruvians not American? We spell '"organised," so you definitely mean the US. I don't get why everyone says "American" when they refer to the US. We're Americans, too!
@@lolabest1652 organised is still correct
you're lucky! in my school they buy us all the same generic books and we have to carry them all in our bags and we can't go into our lockers because they're in classrooms not in the hall. but to save my back from hurting I just leave them around the school and collect and replace them when necessary!
Patchy Rye yeah my locker is inside the classroom too, I just leave my huge math book there
I suggest you try to download it to your device so that you donât have to bring the entire book home
Patchy Rye same but my school doesn't allow bags
Just like my school! My mom is trying to place me in a different school.
Patchy Rye still lucky huhu because our school doesn't recommend lockers at all we don't have lockers at school and we need to carry our books and notebooks with us everyday, we've been complaining this for a long time but their reason is that many kids don't study at home because they leave their books at their lockers and they don't do their assignment
This school year I've used a a couple of plastic folders which are used for homework, loose sheets and to keep my books safe and my bag is much neater and my sheets and homework aren't handed in crumpled anymore :)
Yay! I hate being the only person with a crumpled paper and the stack of homework has a weird lump in the middle haha
I should probably do that to as our school gave us a plastic folder for homework and stuff and like other pieces of paper and then what happened was it got crumpled up YES YOU HEARD RIGHT I literally crumpled up the folder yeah Idk and then I kind of lost it and then I and then I ended up with random piece of paper at the bottom of my bag so like yeah
that speech towards the ending tho.
Siti Nur Yasmin Muhammad Khadhri so true it remind me of Dead poet society so wierd lol
Woah hi old people đź
I love binders. They're so useful and they make you stay so organized! They may be heavy when you have more than one, but they're definitely worth it.
For binders you can buy reinforcement stickers/labels that go around the holes and stop it from tearing. :)
It's impractical to put three stickers on every. single. piece of paper.
the high school i'm going to next year REQUIRES me to have a seperate book for each subject, so i''ll have like 8 notebooks, but probably only bring 4-6 a day cri.
pricilla lol i have around 14 classes and had the amazing idea of getting two big notebooks for all of them, but they are so heavy, i honestly regret so much
Iâm starting high school later this year and I will have at least 4 classes a day and classes will start around 8:30-8:45 not exited
Hahahaha in India we have to make around 15 to 20 notebooks each year
I personally use an expandable folder for all of my subjects then each tab has a couple of slim folders that separates exercises (red), notes (blue) etc... for the chapter or unit, once the unit's done they go into a huge binder for that specific subject which is separated with dividers for each chapter. It's a lot of stuff but it's compact and organized !!!!
That's a really good idea! I think I might also start putting folders in my expanding file.
4 minutes and 18 seconds reminding me why i hate school again. tomorrow is my first day back. it was so much fun being able to do everything through a computer last year, much more convenient.
One tip that I use is using multiple folders inside an expanding folder or inside your binder.
For notebooks, I typically just use college ruled paper. However, if your class needs a notebook, then you might as well use one.
I also have this problem with me in classes with one subject notebooks. In the entire school year, I always use up to 20-30 pages in a 100 page book. Instead on wasting money, just rip out those pages and reuse.
Those are the only tips I have rn :p
what sucked is: its a requirement for us students to buy 10 to 12 notebooks for every subject. And we bring them everyday. fuck.
I have a 3 inch zip up binder with a built in pencil case, rings, but also a file folder system with built in dividers, two pockets for storing stuff. I use the built in pencil case for stuff I usually use for each class, and a regular pencil case I put on the rings for coloured pencils, markers, and extra pens, pencils, and highlighters. I put tape, a protractor, and sticky notes in the pocket
Thanks! Bought a binder with a few expanding folder sections and a clip part. Bought mini agenda because it is easier for me to keep with me to write in. Feeling motivated! Hope I can keep things in order for at least the first month of school
How is ur handwriting so neat
Madison Sparks exersise
Madison Sparks She practices, and perfects her handwriting everyday.
She says she has naturally neat handwriting so she doesnât really have any tips for a better handwriting
+Madison Sparks you can go check out studytee channel her handwriting is also so neat it makes me want to do something productiveđ
I LOVE UR PROFILE PICTURE ITS SO PRETTY WITH THE OMBRE TURQUOISE OMG
I love how you say the upside and downside of things. It's really helpful!
Thanks your helping me calm down my anxiety for school last year was pretty bad, so this year needs to be good so thanks
Expandable File Folders is a winner for me because its just efficient and also the organization is amazing
I remember last year, I used to take post it notes and put it on my notes for math. Behind those notes are the classwork that went along with it. In my tab dividers, I put my homework there. The post it notes can be annoying at some points, but they can really work. I also put what the notes were about on the post it notes. It was really organized for a 6th grader, and when the unit was over, I put them in a file case. It's efficient and it won't take a lot of storage depending on what you use. But good video, this will help me once I get into my high school years. đ
I finally found an honest video-not a video where you diy each and evrything which,in my opinion,is time consuming-so,thank you Studyquill.
Love from England
Itâs so nice that you gave us different options to use if we donât have one of them!!! Thanks for inspiring me so much Jasmine!!!
Case it binders are a life saver, its a pencil case, expanding file folder, and a binder all in one, would highly reccomend.
School for me starts in three weeks! Thank you so much for this video! â€ïž
i've been watching jasmine for about 20 minutes and i am already a huge fan i have nice handwriting but my notes aren't always super neat, so she is definitely motivating me to make neater notes.
our school made it a requirement that we had to watch this in advisory today omg
in middle school 6-8 i got 1 3-subject notebooks for the three years, spirals are my preferred method, but i always keep an accordion (file) folder with me with tons of loose binder papers for work we need to turn in. it honestly works a lot better for me because i only have 2 subjects (math and English) that need 3 subject notebooks. though we didnt use even one third of all the pages. good luck on school, even though iâm late
I wish i can become more organised like you im trying my best rn you inspire me , thank you so much đ
I use a binder with file tabs in it for my notes and I also use a folder for each class. I divided my folders so one side is class work and hand outs and the other side is homework. This video was really helpful. Iâm going to get a file folder for my grades work.
Yes! I'm gonna need to get organized for school especially since I'm going to start a new grade after the summer. I told myself this school year I would organize myself but looking through my bag, there's a chunk of papers all over the place and I rlly need to get my life together. This mess makes me loose papers and then they won't get graded by the teacher. Thanks for this!
Whenever any of my teachers tell us that we need to have a binder or notebook at the beginning of the year, I just bring what they tell us to bring for like the first three weeks and depending on how many times I take them out of my backpack for that class instead of just a pencil and paper, which is usually never, I either keep using it or I just take everything out of my backpack and just keep a folder that has tons of pockets that I got from OfficeDepot and paper instead of a bunch of notebooks and binders and every weekend I just go through my folders and sort stuff into piles of keep, leave at home, or get rid of and its just so much easier than whatever the teacher wants us to do
as for organising papers , i use a boxed file. i paper clip the same subjects together with different coloured paper clips. it helps and its really organized
Ik this is late but I use an accordion folder for my work. What I do is highlight on the side of my paper. homework in one color, notes in another color, etc. this helps me pick out the specific type of paper i need
One of my favorite things to use is the Five-Star notebook where there are 3 rings... it's hard to explain, but basically theres a ton of paper and like 7 dividers that come with it and it's the best for classes that have lots of notes. Another good one from Five-Star are the ones with spirals (which are covered on the outside with fabric so it doesn't get messed up) that also have moveable dividers and tons of paper.
I recommend if you have a double block class or the same teacher for one class, have a multiple subject notebook for it. If you store all your notes that are on a separate sheet of paper and worksheets into the same binder, there is more risk of a messy binder. So if having a binder for a class and then having a multiple subject notebook helps, I think that's a good solution.
"dont get a multiple subject notebook"
me who just did exactly that: *wait-*
i love your channel omfg I'm obsessed đđ
Thank you so much!
Really a pencil case I thought I was ment to leave all my things on a plastic bag!!
Love this video helped a lot đ
The binder tip was really helpful thank you.
I bring two 5 subject notebooks to school to take notes in, then, because most of my teachers require binders, I put my notes from the week in binders, which I keep at home, except on test days when I want to review or when my teacher want to do a "binder check"
oh my god, your videos are so inspiring and they keep motivated, thank you so much! :)
and your french notebook looks amazing, je suis jalouse ;w;
I found out about your channel and I have been only watching youđ
Your videos are very helpful and like make sense to meâ€â€
your voice is soooo relaxing ! I love it đ
Another good idea is to buy like those five stars folders with the holes on the side and you can put it in your binder. Just for any work or scratch paper and stuff.
i usually just have a binder for each class (1 inch to 1 and a half inch depending on the class). in the binder, i keep all classwork, handouts, homework, notes. itâs pretty organized and it doesnât add a ton of weight (keep in mind i use a locker)
'Lost the void and never to be seen again '
I'm going to use a binder or ordner for notes and homework. I am planning to take notes during the lessons and when i come home, i will make the notes again but more organized and beautiful.
I carry a 500 page notebook just for lose leaf paper. After I use all the paper I use the pocket dividers for next year. Plus I keep my sticky notes in that notebook. I love reusing/repurpose things because I get emotionally attached to somethings. I named my flash drive Doug. And a doodle snail jerald.
I didn't saw this Kind of video , thanks it really helped me !! btw your French Notebook is so pretty đđđ
Thank you so much, I'm glad it helped!
this was sooooooooo helpful!!!!!! I love your videos! Keep up the good work!
This is so helpful! I wish I was thins organized with my papers; I just get lazy and shove them wherever. Bad habit, I know!
I personally use a notebook for each class that needs one, because i just like how it feels to write in a notebook, and i use a big binder with color coded folders yo put papers in, sense teachers domt always give you papers holepunched
In Germany we use these thin plastic folders which have a clear front cover.you put pages in them like u would in a binder but itâs not bulky. U probably have those in the US that would solve most of the problems because they arenât bulky and you can flip through.
Also in Germany we have a really thin hole punch that has holes so it sits in the binder so putting sheets in isnât a hassle.
Super helpful as always â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
Love you đ
The handwriting notes are so neat and satisfying prolly just me
I recommend pocket folders and using a pocket per unit, it's really handy.
These kinds of videos give me anxiety because it is based on school but I always watch them because these videos have great content
I use one binder for all my notes divided in classes it works really well
I have a big binder for all my papers separated in all the different classes and then I have a smaller binder where I put in only the classes I have that day :)
Use a combination of these e.g have folders for school to carry around your current work and then transfer your notes into binders at home
this was so helpful omg thank u!
Your handwriting is actual GOALS
Your channel is everything I need
I got a new iPad mini! The first person I searched up was you! And the first video I watched on here, was this video!
I really enjoy all of your vids! It makes me want to study hahahđđđlove from Indonesia!!
Thank you so much!
Use hole reinforcements for when the holes rip after hole punching. Target sells filler paper with them already on the paper.
I love your realism
+JuniperBronze Thanks âș
I use the fivestar flex notebinders instead of regular binders because they have the same system for organization but aren't bulky :)
what i do:
i have a folder that is basically for everything. and it has dividers for all subjects, even projects and everything.
i have one big notebook that is divided and my notes are neatly written.
once a week, i clean my school stations.
I just found your channel and I absolutely love it
Thanks so much Kathryn!
I loved this video, it was really helpfull!
If you are forgetful, have a sheet of paper, a planner or bullet journal, sticky notes, or a laptop to jot down whatever needs to get done for a class. I find this really helpful for example I don't carry my bujo around with me to every class, but all my classes require to have my laptop with me, so I just type all my tasks onto an online sticky note, and then when I get home I copy what I have to get done for the next class in my bujo. I hope this helps some people! :)
I knew most of this, but it's still a very helpful video. Happily subscribed :D
I think another good way to organize for school are (in German) "Abheftmappen" they are like something between a binder and a folder so the pages aren't loose, because they are hold by a metal or plastic thing and you can easily flip through the pages, but they aren't bulky, because they are made out of thin plastic or paper.. I don't know if you have them in the US, but you can search "Abheftmappen" online and look for them, because my explanation was so bad..
And great video, Jasmine! Your channel, studygram and studyblr are my favorites! â„ïž
In America we have something similar called a Duotang (donât think I spelled that right) folder where there are three pins in the middle of the folder to put hole punched things. The outer flaps also have pockets.
I have that pencil case and I donât find it bulky itâs really nice to have
Wow your handwriting is awesome
This video is really helpful
You can use a portfolio. It's like a book with folders as pages
This really helped! Thank you!
Another option is to get a plastic folder with the tabs for hole punched papers, so you can organize like classwork and homework in the pockets and notes in the tab.
You should combine the two (binder and paper/plastic folders) what I mean is hole punch the folder and put them in binders which will be easier well for me
In my school we need 1 or 2 notebook(s) per subjects. So I make my own diy notebooks of 50 sheets and if I need more page I make another one. At the end of school year I put them together as a whole notebook.
THE FINAL SPEECH THOđ
Wow the way they run things in America is so different! I'm English and have been to public and state schools and have always been given a plain exercise book for every subject. We have to carry them around with us all day and we only have thin laptop lockers that you could maybe squeeze a few books into. I wish I could just make notes in my own book or lined paper and store it in an expandable folder it would be so much lighter! Sorry rant over đ. Great video, I found you through studyign and you have a new subscriber!
You're so inspiringđ„°
Thank you for this video about organization it stopped me from self harm
thanks ! helped me a lot
I wish I could do this - I live in the UK and we have to use the books the school give us. They have really thin paper and most teachers make us leave our books at school because they donât trust us not to lose them đ«
I love your videos!! Just wondering how you make those dividers in your ringbinders or where you got them from - i really want some!! Do you just get normal ones and slash them across?? xx
I use a clear book
It's like a binder and file folder merge into one. Best part, it has many pages. :3
Awesome videos !!đ
Thank you so much!
At my school we MUST have a huge 4in binder with sections for each subject, sometimes it sucks because things can easily be torn out and if your binder gets knocked off a table or dropped, the papers go everywhere and you're screwed because you have to find out where everything went.
In the philippines, they require us to have seperate notebooks for each class. And we have 7 to 9 of subjects in total. And we take tests every week or every topic we just finished.
My school does the A day and B day system for classes and while sometimes itâs confusing, it helps SO MUCH with the workload of homework. It also makes my backpack much lighter because Iâll only have four classes, one of which is usually an elective so I only have to carry a few notebooks and my binder. I love it so much lol.
If no one will say it, I will...the way she says happy Halloween is so cuteeeee!đ
