Thank you for all the love, support and amazing encouraging comments. ❤ This was a once in a lifetime opportunity for Ghazal who took full advantage of it and didn't let an ounce of fear stop her. For those concerned- no this route was not "above her capabilities". I've done this route, my husband has done this route, we were all familiar with it and knew she could do it, it wasn't technical. It looks worse than it is, but it was well within her ability to conquer it, and that she did 🥳🤩
She got the opportunity to learn new things, push her boundaries ( in a safe way) and gained the kind of confidence it would take one years to acquire. She left Shimshal a new person and a whole new set of skills and confidence riding. I have no doubt she will be doing BIG things in years to come and hope only the best for her-
so lets show her the most support we can. The fact that she did this on a small bike with no suspension, city tires (in pakistan you just make do- thats what you do and it works!) And time and time again showed her strength, resilience, positivity and perseverance, just shows not only what an amazing human she is, but phenomenal rider.

Ms Rosie, thank you for showing me this beautiful land and landscape. I'm curious about the bikes you both rode on this journey. I myself ride a 2007 Suzuki GZ250, and was excited to see the Suzuki logo on Ghazal's bike. I love my bike, but it's a cruiser, and I would like to ride roads like those shown in your video. Please tell me the year, make, and model of your bike, and also that of Ghazal's bike. I will be most grateful to you for this.
You have been warned! Pakistanis & their govt. are not big on health & safety like in the West where you have proper zebra crossings for pedestrians and seat belt laws & on the spot fines for using a mobile phone when driving! They tend to get a little high & walk on the wild side with notions of "Allah will save us" & glory of"martyrdom " and no rules high speed traffic.
They need to remind themselves of the "discipline " part in their national motto!
But rookie Ghazal is extremely fortunate to have an experienced , caring & sensible guide in Rosie Gabrielle !

I feel that for Ghazal it was a huge learning curve and next time she can do it on a proper adventure bike.
I think you should open a proper adventure bike riding school for girls and then take them out on tours of different parts of Pakistan to begin with and who knows what it might grow to be
In 1994 I was travelling alone (solo woman) in Nepal and I met another solo woman who was heading to Pakistan. I was so impressed with her, we didn't have smartphones, CZcams, etc. so the only information we had was always negative and absolutely dangerous for women. Now, you are showing the world the truth: a gorgeous country with very friendly people. God bless you!

The fall was really scary and you could see it on Rosie's face , but Ghazal didn't know the gravity of the situation. She could have easily gone down the ridge and into the next world . But she kept up a brave face and seemed to improve with each water crossing . The dad deserves kudos for allowing the daughter on such a perilous off-road trip . There is always a first time . I'm sure the little girl learned a lot from this journey and will go on to record further successes.
she said her whole riding experience and abilities changed from this trip. She was never able to push herself that much with her father, and never tried such a route and she said so many things changed after this, especially her confidence. I was so proud of her, she did such an amazing job! hope for more adventures with the lovely Ghazal next summer!

First time my drone ever crashed actually !! I’ve been lucky 🙈 good thing it was just few scratches and bent propellers , was Able to replace propellers and it’s fine 🎉

I dont know about Ghazal, but I can sense some divine hand stopping her movement further downhill and getting her foot stuck under the bike to make her turn back. No wonder, Jissay Allah rakhay, ussay kon chakhay (None can harm the one, who Allah Saves)! Life was hectic this year for us, so didn't get to do what we wanted, but hopefully this year will change that ! what kind of content would you like to see??
I do have a video I was going to post after this of us.. Its us "racing" on this road 🤪 But I am riding one handed 😁 I'm debating posting it as I know I will get a lot of "flack" for doing something irresponsible, but this is how we actually like to ride. You wouldn't go to the circus and then try and jump off your roof into a small pool- its for the professionals... I dunno, what do ya say, should I post it?
also have one "day trip" adventure video of us to post.. it's not my usual youtube content so was hesitant.. I'm weird with the standard of my YT vids and what I will post here. hahah
ahhh I do have a couple videos actually I'm posting soon of when we first met, and our first months together !!! hahha he's changed a LOT! will be funny to see. I'm starting to post EVERY week now which I'm super stoked about that I'm FINALLY going to get caught up !! wahooo!

Now I am 74 close to 75, January 30th, 2023 and can't do those things anymore. Enjoy your youth and live life the best you can. We live in a wild valley in the Andean mountains, here there are bears and jaguars and to get there it takes hours under mountains with up to 4,300m in 4X4 Jeeps, motorcycles, horses and walking; In this valley we are so far from everything that the basis of survival is exchange (barter) and even so we take the time to watch all your videos - thank you very much

Great vídeo Rosie as been a while since I watched your vídeos mostly because motorcycle things got a bit away, but its nice to have your very human and non fancy aproach to it again.
