Molly Picon is the definition of funny. CZcams has one of the best episodes of Car 54 Where Are You? Molly Picon plays a matchmaker who has her own dating service. The episode is called "Joan Crawford Didn't Say No." This is a classic and Molly Picon is a gem as always. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 RIP Molly 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Shizue Hicks, yes, and the great Molly Picon as "Mrs. Bronson" was in two other episodes as well. "Occupancy, August 1st" is probably my favorite of the 3 and can be seen here on CZcams.

Hello, Is there a way to add closed captions to this video?
I'm fluent in English, Hebrew and "stumble on four legs" in Yiddish.
People who do not read Hebrew, or speak Yiddish would still appreciate this clip and the poem.

René warum kommentierst du unter jedem deutschem Kommentar von jedem jüdischen Video das deutsche es nicht verstehen. Fühlst du dich so angegriffen ist halt nunmal so das man es im großen Ganzen versteht

To Gary Grushkowitz: Yiddish is definitely not a mixture of Hebrew and German, in the same way that English is not a mixture of Anglo-Saxon and French. Yiddish is an independent Jewish language which has embodied Ashkenazic-Jewish culture for more than a thousand years. Mr. Grushkowitz, before you make silly statements which are the result of ignorance, read some authoritative articles on Yiddish linguistics (in English or in Yiddish). Yiddish is a very special language with a personality of its own. If you mix Hebrew and German, you certainly do not get Yiddish. The Yiddish language, which united millions of Jewish people in a variety of countries, the home base being Eastern Europe, can boast of an extremely rich literature (in prose and poetry). The Yiddish milieu has given us a unique musical heritage (folk, art and theatre songs, klezmer music). Yiddish is a treasure house of enlightening proverbs and pithy sayings.
By the way, Mr. Grushkowitz, how is your Yiddish? Do you have an acceptable level in spoken and written Yiddish? Are you acquainted with the masterpieces of Yiddish literature? Are you able to sing a song or two in Yiddish? A word to the wise is sufficient: think before you speak.
