Hey guys! So this is one of the most ambitious edits we've ever made and thank you for your patience. We've always been quite gamers but I think with the pandemic we've been gaming more than ever and have found more of an appreciation for it more than we ever have, I think that goes for many people. We love games where you can be drawn into a world entirely different than our own and essentially "Be who you want to be." It's what we love about gaming! We're mostly PlayStation gamers as we have never in our lives owned an X-Box. It's not that we refuse to, we just happen to enjoy PlayStations more story-orientated exclusives such as The Last of Us series, Horizon Zero Dawn, and God of War.
We're most excited for Horizon Forbidden West and God of War: Ragnarok

@@themek.6923 It's really weird that you just commented this because literally half an hour ago I watched a CZcamsr I like play episode 1 for the first time. I haven't really seen anything about that game in months but this morning I watch that video and then get this comment. Wild.
When you get invested in a video game it can leave you with more life lessons than anything else. I will forever think that game designers are better story tellers than any movie or show director.

Thank you for including Senua. Hellblade is an amazing game and not many people know or talk about it. Once the second game comes out and if it lives up to the first one, the series will explode in popularity. I played through the game twice and during my first playthrough, it messed with my brain. It scratched an itch I didn't know I had. Thank you, once again.

I totally forgot about that line, but hearing it now has only made me love it more. Thank you for making this. I rarely see big edits for games, and I think people can often overlook the impact games can have on people. Seeing the amount of love that goes into making games is so inspiring to me, especially when it's obvious to the players. Thank you for reminding me why I love video games so much.

It's more than a tribute. It's a legacy, an age of humanity that not all understand. A way of seeing something that you have to experience to relate to. You could not have expressed this better, props to you, game on.
I don't know how this only just popped up on my feed, but this has to be one of the best tribute videos I've seen.

I’m 39, been gaming since the Atari 2600 but really got going with the NES. Been playing ever since. What’s most amazing to me is how modern games have become these amazing cinematic narratives that carry so much emotional weight and tell such gripping stories. What’s sad is that it is lost on so many people they think video games are just for children but they’re so wrong. They’re missing out on an entire piece of pop culture pie that happens to be one of the best ones there is. I’ve played so many amazing games that have made my cry, express joy, inspired me and so on. I love it and will never stop gaming.
Games are far more capable of teaching us more about ourselves than the older generations; what it means to be human; what to do when all hope seems lost; what grief feels like; what it means to pay the ultimate price; We are capable of being the change the world needs; all it takes is someone to speak out and say "This is not right." To those who believe themselves to be untouchable and shine a light upon our civilization's corruption.

The reason why gamers game is it's also for the feeling you get to slip into a world of your own. You get to be who you want to be. No judgment, no restrictions makes you feel like the best parts of you are who you are

Basically my favourite main characters are in this video XD Ellie, Senua, Clementine, Aloy as women and Joel, Arthur and Kratos (my favourite of all the times) for men! Good choice of games...
This is really really good. It really got me nostalgic and teared up, I would actually give anything to experience all these games for the first time again without any spoilers. Damn I really need more sequels lol 😭

It's insane how quickly the 'I'm afraid' moment in RDR2 passes, and is immediately gone, but it's still so powerful nonetheless.
After I finished watching, I noticed you were the same editor of those remarkably phenomenal tributes of Joel & Ellie from The Last of Us!!
You made me realize there are still amazing storytelling games out there I have yet to play.
You let me relived those times of great characters I'd played who are determined and adamant to keep fighting for their purpose.

That was stunning! I was almost completely overwhelmed. What a fantastic testament to, yet again, prove how powerful and creative video games are. That I have often felt far more emotion after the conclusion of a game over a movie or tv show. Example, I was a mess for weeks after finishing TLOU p2!! Really great stuff here, and bonus points for it being spoiler free!

I think when I first finished the game I didn't but when I watched the scene again recently I did have a build-up of tears in my eyes myself, it is very moving and I look forward to the next game, I'll be on it the day of release hopefully and may try and make and edit so maybe watch this space 😅 Only if you're interested of course!

It did take a few weeks to collect everything I wanted to use I still feel that I missed so many it took a while to put together but mostly because inspiration comes and goes in wave and you have to just go with that, because I would never work on a video when I have no feeling for it, it wouldn't come out so well. But I'm glad you liked it and that you enjoyed out TLOU videos too! I hope to make more gaming edits in the future! 😀❤
