  • Colne, Lancashire.
MS cars driving along road, pull back to show the town. MS road again. MS mills and factories. MS train passing by on branch line, pull back to houses, factories etc., and hills in background. Pan across houses.
High angle MS terraced houses, pan across streets and up to church, the Union Jack seems to be flying at half mast. There are fields in background.

I used to visit Padiham and Colne in the sixties and seventies, had cousins living in Fountain St , Colne. Haven’t been back since the early eighties but have fond memories of it.

Bonnie Colne up on th' hill The flag on the town hall is now the flag of England -St George's cross 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 and no longer the Union Jack 🇬🇧. But I wonder why it was at half mast that day?
