So true. There was a ridiculously stupid comment on a recent video telling of their " concern" that these 2 little girls have no TV, no entertainment, no food, etc. Good for them that they don't sit watching TV all day! And they have plenty to eat, it's just that the fridge needed to be restocked. Reading , crafts, art, music....those are all excellent for children! This family is wonderful, and the children are super well taken care of. 💕

I only discovered your channel a couple weeks ago, but I just love your family. You two are doing so much to make your family have the best life possible and despite the craziness you’ve gone through over the last couple years, still find joy and wonder in the simple, wonderful things in life. The decorations turned out very pretty, I used to make that kind of snowflakes and garlands when I was a kid too. But I never knew how to make so many different snowflakes, yours are so very beautiful! You made me wanna make some this Christmas, just for old times’ sake. ☺️🤗

I enjoyed your day of Christmas ornament creating. It brought back such pleasant memories of doing the same when my children were young. They are adults now with their own children, but they do remember all the festivities and joy of the Christmas season during their childhood. Love the simplicity of homemade decor! Those chain garlands and snowflakes, bring back memories of grade school in our "little room" of the two room school house I grew up going to.
The little room was K-4, the big room 5-8.
When my brother and I began school, just 1 year apart, they didn't have kindergarten yet. The next year after I started, they started having a kindergarten class. We both just began as first graders.
I had the largest class of 5 students in my grade the entire time I attended grade school... and I had only two different teachers from grades 1-8.... and we remained in this country school until we graduated from 8th grade. --We then rode a bus to school for high school where it was really strange to have a different teacher for every class!
My mom had to drive us to school and then come pick us up... but my folks bought a motorcycle when I was in 7th and he in 8th, and we rode it to and from school in nice weather, saving a very tedious daily task for my mom. As an 8th grader, I rode it to and from school... as did 3 of the classmates in my grade. --Each of us had a motorcycle, and by then my brother was going to high school.
We sure felt grown up driving the 3-4 miles on trail roads, driving ourselves to the school!

Those are the memories your children will cherish; Christmas does not have to be expensive or extravagant to make it a happy occasion. Those snowflakes and garlands are just beautiful and oranges are wonderful. Tip: change the paper towel so it dries faster. Or use cloth towels to save money. This is such a warm video ❤ This video was a trip down memory lane. I grew up in post soviet country and we used to do the same decorations before christmas. Its so nice seeing a simple beautiful family doing handcrafted simple decorations. Looks so cozy. Especially when everyone now is decorating their homes with flashy lights and store bought decorations. This is very homey and cute

Reminds me of my childhood. I miss when the simple things had meaning. I don’t blame things I’ve been through however lifes hardships have certainly take away these kind of moment’s from me.
I am happy my son ended up a nice, respectable and responsible young man. I only wish his father and his wife ( with whom I get along with really well) didn’t spoil him so much so moments like these held his attention.

The greatest gifts of christmas aren't the gift we unwrap but the memories this time of the year left in our heart. I was really spoiled as a kid. Nintendo,SNES,Playstation... All those stuffs,but the memories of the fallen are now the things i cherrish the most. As Kids we often don't know what it's like to losing Parent and family members,i wish i knew to try to make even more of it

I always loved doing holiday crafts with the kids I was babysitting. I would hope that they would enjoy doing that now as well. It makes them happy to see the work they do on display for everyone to see. Merry Christmas.
I'd completely forgotton about making these things until I watched this. I remember making so many of these decorations when I was a kid, I used to find it really fun to come up with designs for snowflakes and making huge, huge paper chains, and I hadn't thought about that at all for so many years!! Nice video, made me smile :D
If Agatha learns to cut half of the line and then rotate the paper, it is easier. She is doing well! You can add glitter too!
