I appreciate the addition of Xylophones, Ecclesiastical Organ and Harmonious Chorus in the theme for the Rock Bottom of Area Zero. It gives a whole new meaning to the proverb "the Journey has now begun". You learn new things about the Stellar type energy oozing and how little we know about Terastal. The Xylophones are also a reference to Crystal Pool due to the fact that this project is what pushed the original professor to the death of their sanity and then the inevitable fate. It serves as a warning to what one should ALWAYS avoid in exercising the passion in life. I love it.
If Area Zero's theme said "This place is too dangerous for you. If you aren't prepared, you still have a chance to go back and do so." with the fact there were still Paradox Pokémon to find in there, everything about this place just screams a stern "This is your final warning. Turn back. *NOW."* The Underdepths are MUCH more enclosed and linear than the massive area above, and the only Pokémon species aside from the uncatchable, scripted Stellar Type Pokémon encounters and Terapagos in there are Glimmet, its evolution Glimmora and Carbink, all of which can be found elsewhere in Paldea and Kitakami. Aside from the item balls and the Hidden Treasure itself, there is absolutely NOTHING of interest in there, and it shows.
I do like how this kind of feels like the bit 'missing from' the original Area Zero theme or like the musical layer we never got to hear the same way the Underdepths were obscured from us originally
The best choir of 2023! Change my mind. Seriously, this song has otherworldly vibes that equal the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom's Zonai voices. I was in complete awe upon hearing this theme for the first time! The true end of this wonderful story arc! Something amazing that I never expected for a Pokemon game!
One thing I wonder is besides the Carbink, Glimmet, and Glimora, how did the Noivern, Sandy Shocks/Iron Thorns, Garganacl, and Garchomp live down in the underdepths
I know the Paradox Pokémon, Garganacl and Garchomp (or at least, its preevolutions) can be found in Area Zero, but Noivern being here as well raises a LOT of questions, since you can ever only find Noivern in Areas 1 and 2 of the North Province...
I think it's showing that it's been surrounded by so much Terastal energy that it became completely enveloped in crystal. Regardless, I like that they didn't say anything about it. Gives a sense of mystery and wonder. We don't need all the answers.
Probably the tree where the Herba Mystica originated. The journals did mention they took samples to the surface to see if it grows. There is no definite proof but the way the tree looks pretty much match the mysteriousness of the herbs and to it.
Honestly, it could just be there to show that the Underdepths used to be near the surface but so much subsidence and cave ins and whatnot has happened since that entire trees ended up hundreds of meters underground and were crystallised entirely from the sheer amount of environmental terastal energy down there.
We've seen crystals covering the bases of various trees in the upper crater. It appears it's been long enough for the crystals to have completely overtaken the tree.
This is the epitome of "We are DEFINITELY NOT supposed to be here" and
"This is NOT familiar territory anymore."
This is even more mystical than the aera zero simple... we can't be more cristally
Crystally***
this the whole jeeode from msm

An innocent, yet intimidating choir, as you descend into an area that you didn't know existed.

If only we could’ve brought Arven here
if only we could’ve brought his hot mom’s robot clone back here

Beautifully mysterious theme. Chills when I heard it in game

Probably has something to do with that tree.

What gets me most is the Carbink. A Pokémon not known to live in Paldea now discovered to be living thousands of miles below the region.
The choir at the beginning sounding more far away as it to signify you are under the regular Area Zero is cool as hell
Area zero final layer. Honestly i hope there is more!
There is more. If you fall down into the void in the underdepths you get spawned back to where you were before you fell
Sounds very mystical.
If Area Zero was Atlantis, this place is the mine of Orichalcum
But will it pulse
😂
Im wondering what the tree is about no interaction atall they really kept it as mysterious as possible they better do something special
Its literally a tree whats there to do

clearly it’s where sada is resting until she gains enough Tera energy to emerge from the earth like a locust after dying
The music gives me waterfall Feeling. it sounds like waterfall!
It sounds like the song was Terastallized.
I'm still wondering what's with the tree?

@@coopinatormusic6214 yeesh
@@coopinatormusic6214 Another theory ive seen is that it's a fully grown Herba Mystica.
Sounds like im in church
What are the choir saying?
