    Doing the math- 1320hp at 28lbs of boost, add in an additional 12lbs of boost at 40 hp per lb= 480+1320=1800 hp...wow!!

    The lt is a dying breed. But here I am at 25 determined to build an lt car that anyone in town would recognize. Just to stand out from the rest. I know the ole lt can do it.

      Being someone who literally grew up riding in a passenger seat of the famous blk qtrz28. I wanna say thank you for being someone even younger then myself and keeping it alive. I am mid 30s and from 4-15 I can only remember races until 5am every Friday and Saturday and all in a factory red top lt1 and people hated that it won so many shootouts and with a stock intake. The car will always be famous and still sits the way it was in the 90’s but has not been driven since. I think the potential in it can outdo the Ls and by a lot. God bless you and your awesome! Keep the LT1 alive.

    I'd love to have the money that was spent on that engine. I don't need a drag car. I just want a quick and fun street car. The LT1 in my 96 Buick Roadmaster sedan is okay, but it needs more. Just not that much more

    • @jimmyvega287
      @jimmyvega287 Před rokem

      turn it into an lt4 with the hotcam and some long tubes, youll get close to 400 at the crank and still make street car fuel economy, all na

      Simple lt1 formula that worked great in my 94 Camaro. If the motor is in good enough shape, u need a 93 octane tune (hyper tech tuner used to do the job ok, but a custom 93 tune would be better). Focus on the trans/torque converter and rear axle ratio first. A good 24-2800 ish stall converter and built trans, and being it's a Roadmaster, go for a good Eaton or a Yukon carrier with at least 3.73 if not 4.10 gears because of the weight of the car. Might even consider better axle shafts due to the hefty nature of that car. Lastly good bushings and some good shock spring combos will help transfer weight better and get that car up and moving. Trust me, the lt1 makes good power by itself, unlock the motor and get the car to put the power down, and you will not believe the insane difference. My best et on stock motor with a 2800 stall, built 4l60e trans and stock 3.23 gears went 13.0 at 110-115mph all night long. Good luck with your build man, whatever direction you take that LT1 will make it happen.👍

      Put lt4 heads and a big torque cam in it for that heavy car and a 3k stall 410 gears

    Disappointed to see this is no longer a true street car. I remember seeing this car at beech bend a few years ago. It had full interior, ac....EVERYTHING. It was easily the most impressive street car I had ever seen, but seemed like it couldn't keep the heads down. Anyway, nice to see the car again.
