Chimenti's Eye's solos are always the best.

I remember Jerry smoking a cigarette he had on his amp during this song. I wondered what he had in that cigarette

Bobby is getting too old to play and sing in key; it's sad. Some songs it is not too noticeable, but others...he's a real detriment to the music - clanging at chords. Credit to him for all the years he has put in, but my unpopular opinion would be to add a rhythm guitarist to the group to assist and let Bob stick to the lanes he can still do. The music is still enjoyable, but it could be elevated with a little help.

yeah, can't help but agree. his vocals suffer on songs where yelling isn't needed. sometimes yelling is good though, like Minglewood or even Jack Straw. But he murders Terrapin.

I remember when Bobby was a teenager. Good for him to keep on keeping on.

@@malbinsonful Yes, he's adjusted a number of lead vocals so he doesn't have to go for the high notes (And he's still singing pretty well in his mid range, I think), but terrapin and PITB...

No energy, Weir sounds awful, what a shame. This is unacceptable. Jerry is not happy with this. I love The Grateful Dead🙂. These songs deserve respect.
