Good hack on the button. I bought the first version and sent it back for the upgrade. Your comments are spot on and I use mine much like yours. I wish ITC would make a more powerful unit. I have had a few aiptasia at the waterline of my coral grow out tank where getting the unit underwater was difficult. What I did was remove the black plastic cover over the safety sensor and put a small piece of paper towel on top of the two probes and snapped the cover back on the RD then wet the towel. The wet towel completes. the circuit and allows me to use the unit out of the water.
With regard to Berghia, I had a huge Aiptasia problem in one of my quarantine tanks and placed four Berghia in this 40 gallon tank (no fish) with easily 200 aiptasia. In less than two months I had about 20 berghia and little aiptasia. I found my self growing aiptasia just to keep the berghia. They are very fragile, nocturnal so finding and capturing them is a bit of a chore.
With regard to the low light aspect, I'm looking for a small waterproof laser to mount on the unit to help in aiming when its difficult to see where you are aiming.
Another thing I wish ITC would do in future version besides fixing the button issue is to add a battery life indicator and move the flashing light to some other place on the unit. My thumb obscures the light and if one doesn't hold that button down firmly the unit won't function but you can't tell, especially when you can see the UV light. Thanks for making the video.

I tried your mod for the trigger button. Works like a charm. Thank you. I didn't have a suitable piece of plexiglass available so what I used was one half of a wooden clothes pin and the rubber bands from the stalks of broccoli you find in the supermarket. The other plus to this hack is I now can see the flashing indicator light. And I can still swap batteries without removing the modification. I sent a picture of this mod along with other suggestions to ITC a week ago......crickets.

Después de eso, la aiptasia volvió a vivir? o desapareció definitivamente? Hubo que repetir tratamiento? Buen video, enhorabuena por el canal
