- According to the NHTSA, when properly administered the standardized field sobriety tests can determine with 93% accuracy whether a person has a blood alcohol concentration higher than the legal limit.
It's a whole new level of drunk when "How do you spell your name?" becomes an accurate field sobriety test... Clairl.
(If you want to skip the officer taking reports on the damaged vehicles and start as officers find the hit-and-run drunk driver, that begins at 6:20.)

It really seems like she's on more than just alcohol... She's gotta be on some drugs as well; either that or she's extremely dim-witted to begin with, in which case she definitely should not be on anything at any time.
That’s the calmest officer I’ve ever seen. He knows she’s plastered yet is kind to her and even helps with the dog. Thank you officer and God bless you.
The officer was super patient
Wow she is not just drunk, she is completely obliterated.
definitely a .25 at least on the breathalyzer, they didn't show if she took it.
It's pretty sad when you are so drunk you can't spell your own name. That's pretty rote.
Yep...she's slurring right off the bat.. she probably thinks she's talking just fine.
No further dui test really needed here unless absolutely required procedurally. This video shows it all. This officer is so kind I could just hug him.
@@sherw7635They always need a test. It’s legal procedure. The video ends with him serving her a warrant for her blood to be drawn. Meaning she likely refused the breathalyzer.
She was "clairly" intoxicated.
Nice pun
I see what yous did there, NICE.
I agree, she Ken't handle her alcohol. She seems spiritual, when she gets home, she should light some Kendles. ( damn autocorrect spelling ) lol, I tried.
Don’t you mean “clairlyL” :P
Thanks for providing some clairlity.
And the dog was "gatorgorically" deaf.
Levels of intoxication:
1- I'm not drunk.
2- I don't think I'm drunk.
3- I'm going to jail
4- clairl

I almost died when she said in a real friendly way" hi "when he approached like she was happy to see him ,like she was having car trouble.
I think she called him her savior or something like that lol! So nonchalant about it all...

Sadly the good ones get drowned out by the bad ones and there are a shitload of bad ones sadly in Murica
The nerve of this girl to freak out over leaving her dog when she was driving THAT drunk with him in the car. He's safer ANYWHERE else.
Well said
I'm still worried about Gator
I kept waiting for the officer to say "Clair if you were so concerned about your dog you wouldn't have driven drunk."
@Damon christopher this was such a bad one. There is a part 2 that shows shes actually cruel and keeps the dog in a muzzle at home. This is a deaf dog!!@
It’s so true.... the reason I don’t drive drunk is because I want to come home to my cat. It may sound ridiculous, but he has definitely forced me to be way more responsible and careful of what I do or what I expose myself to.
Love how people are so concerned about their kids or pets once they are arrested but not that concerned to be driving drunk with them in the car
I know right
I know really!
That's because most people love their pets so much that they want to take them to thee afterlife with them . I know it sounds sick, but it's true.
Pitiful! No one wants to admit that the #1 Drug in our Country is ALCOHOL! Child Abuse, Marital & Family Dysfunction, most of our Crime in this Country is due to ALCOHOL! It’s such a Serious Problem we ignore it & let MULTIPLE DUI’s go BACK on the road.
A drunk mother driving a car and crashing into cars with her unrestrained deaf child in the passenger seat next to her would lose parental rights and be imprisoned. I hope Gator will be with a much better human family where he is always loved and safe.
When the officer said "ClairL" I almost spit out my drink.... The tone was perfect as if asking "Are you serious?"......
The patience of a Saint
Totally!! Hahaha
When he asked her for her middle name and she said Clair and he said clear I laughed so hard. Lol and she doesn’t help by spelling Clairl. The best part by far was her saying “ my bumpers missing” and him replying “ it’s more than your bumper” as he looks over at a crumpled hood

She's covering for the dog. He was driving and he's way more drunk than she is.

As a type one diabetic I was so happy to hear him asking her if she was, when your bloodsugar is low you can exhibit very similar symptoms to being drunk and if it is assumed you are drunk it is very dangerous as you need immediate medical assistance.
Absolutely! Some officers have enough sense to ask these questions. Good for the officer for at least asking her that.
My sugar was 58 today, luckily had some candy available in my car. I'm type 2 diabetic.
I totally agree. I am diabetic too. I no longer drive because it would kill me if I hurt someone. I would not be able to live with myself!! In watching these episodes, it makes me realize what a pain people can be and the patience the cops need to have to deal with this crap.
She is not the right person to have a dog with all these issues because she has issues herself. The pup didn't look full grown, he's deaf, confused, scared and he appeared well behaved. All that matters is the dog is safe, happy & lives as a member of a good family. Lots of love & kisses.
The dog puts its head down in shame when she spells her name wrong, he knew at that moment that he wasn't going home.

He was very straight, not smart ass at all.
It’s so sad our police have to deal with these types of people all the time! Somewhere along the line this lady needed somebody to teach her some manners!
"If you want to do that, then get out of the car. If you don't want to do that, then get out of the car anyway." lmfao That officer was a trip.
If I were a cop, dealing with incidents where pets are present would be the worst. I couldn't drop those dogs at the shelter. As bad to me as children being present, but at least children can grow up to comprehend what happened.
But also, "so given my options..."
"Get outa the car."
