    The flex is in the riser bushings my factory 47s do the same
    While the bars are off you need to add good n tite poly riser bushings and quite sure they need longer riser bolts as well, which are easy to get a hold of

    It’s not the bars. It’s the bushings and that wiggle is common when you go taller than 12’s.

    i am 5/8 had 12 inch la chopper hammerhead bars on and was reaching. slow turing was great but should have gone 14. i am looking at these and debating on the 14's. i ride long trips to but also like to hit the twistiees hard. compared to stock bars are these better for tight turns? Also use a road sofa so sets me up like the step up does.

      I like these better for tight turns compared to stock bars. The left and right sides can be rotated in the clamp to whatever angle you want so you can position them like T-bars if you want a sharper turning feel. I would be these bars over and over again for any future bike I buy.

      @@mrkillijiggles5351 thanks man definitely going to get them. I have the clutch extension and the control extension but might need heated grip extension unless they put it in with my 12’s not sure but have stock back on. Was at kst in sturgis and should have inquired more. 750 total for the bars and install

    How tall are you? I’m debating on 12 vs 14’s.

    Looking at the same bars for my 24 RG. I’m 5’10” and had 14” bars on my 2020 and loved that height. The guy at KST says I should do 12” due to the new model riser being taller. Your thoughts?

      I’m 5’7 and I think the 14s are perfect

      I'm 5'8" and replaced stock bars on my 24 with KST 12" Ornery Apes and hated them. With the stock risers it put the bars at 15". The bars were too wide for me and the wrist angle was odd. I think I'm going to 14" Pathfinders to get the height and hand position I want. By far the most comfortable bars I've ever had on a RG was 16" LA Choppers Hammerheads on my 22 RG CVO. With the stock 24 risers it should put my hands about where I want them height wise and the adjustability of the bars I should be able to dial in my wrist angle.

    I just hate how 14s look they look so damn tall. If you couldn’t do it again would you do 14s motowitch bars?

    • @mrkillijiggles5351
      @mrkillijiggles5351  Před 2 lety +1

      Nope I’d buy the KST Pathfinders every day! The 14s imo look great but when you sit on the bike they don’t feel that tall, just an inch above my shoulders and I have a short torso. I’d highly recommend anything from KSTs Vanguard collection for the 3 way adjustability. Way way way easier to wire than the Motorwitch bars also

    Hey buddy, what perch mount are you using? Don't don't seem stock at all

    • @mrkillijiggles5351
      @mrkillijiggles5351  Před 2 lety +1

      I got the narrow perch clamps because the stock ones were too long to sit flush on the bars. But I ended up getting the 1FNGR levers so they provide a clutch perch which is attached to their lever.

    I got the same bars for my 2023 Road Glide. Do you you have to change the clutch cable?

  • @miguelmontes7638

    What kind of modification you have to do on the gauge housing ?

    • @mrkillijiggles5351
      @mrkillijiggles5351  Před rokem

      I grinded the plastic housing down a little below the gauges and to the side a little to make more room for the clutch cable but that was all

    How’s that seat? Comfortable on long rides?

      I love it, I could go all day on it but I would say my sundowner is more comfortable. I’d pick the sundowner for an actual road trip. Plus the Lucky Daves seat has no room for a passenger
