Airplane Wreck, One Month Later part 2

We returned to the scene of the plane crash! It's changed so much in just under a month. So wild! A plane crashed 2 days after we arrived in Utila, and the pilot of the plane called the owner of Paradise Dive Center to ask him to retrieve his keys, his important documents, and other items from the plane. We were able to go on this dive with the dive center and had the opportunity to participate in retrieving the items and taking them to the surface! Serving a purpose with diving, such an incredible thing. Thankfully, the passengers and pilot made it to shore alive.
We returned to this dive site a month later with Parrots Dive Center, and it was so amazing to see how much it has changed since it first crashed. The plane was much more broken apart, covered in algae, and life was starting to take over as well. Amazing to witness the change of nature taking place. Thank you Utila!
