I just made my first superbike event out there yesterday (June 27th). I'm hooked. Thanks for the vid. Awesome to see the entire track.

I was out there as well! Great even, but that heat was scorching! It's amazing to see how much faster the pros are on this track, and the different lines they take.

Thanks Jeremy! I'm all graduated at this point and am racing expert under plate #182. See you out there this weekend!

    Looking good!
Just small observation, You can carry a lot more entry speed into the carousel(T6)if you push right on the exit of turn 5, which will put you near the edge of the track as you turn into your apex on turn 6. Gives you the full width of the track to scrub speed.
Additionally, as you push right, it will cause the bike to get on the small part of the tire which will improve acceleration on the exit of T5.

Great observation and I completely agree! I feel like I need to adjust my lines and braking points quite a bit. Plus work on using more of the tire.

What kind of system do you have with that data overlay? Pretty cool!

The data is taken from an AiM Solo 2 DL and then overlaid using the RaceRender program.

Thanks for posting this, great riding. I just got a 600 this year for the track and I can see my gear selection has been wrong in a few corners amongst a ton of other things I can do better. What software are you running to get the data? Aim Solo2 DL?

Welcome to the addiction! I'm sure you're going to learn quite a bit from trackdays and races.
I use an AiM Solo 2 DL for gathering data. Then edit in Premiere Pro and RaceRender.

@@alexkibis4338 Thanks man. I did 8 days last year and got hooked and have 12 booked for this year. I got an '06 GSX-R600 which has a very different powerband than the MT-10. I'm running a Solo2 but the DL wasn't worth the extra cost since it can't interface to pull all the data. I'll look into RaceRender for sure, already use Premier Pro. Hope to see you out there!
