I believe he is running at 100x slow mo and just sped up the footage. That explains the background music instead of the cars.
My PC can have about 4 cars at 30fps.

It is Beam who deserves any credit.
Looks to me that around 0:38 that grey van on the right side of the screen loses control and slams into a rock at high speed, flinging debris flying across the track. That debris is then struck by other contestants who then also lose control. At that point, it's a chain reaction as nearly the entire race is caught up in one big, massive fireball crash. It sure was epic though!!!
P.S. I don't think one single car got out of that crash without at least some damage. At the end I didn't see anyone with a clean car
Real talk, I want to make one of those econovans in person. Guy who lives by me has some turbo diesel one on a big lift and huge tires, snorkel and back ladder and I absolutely love it lol.

Do you slow the simulaation speed when you record and then just edit it to real time or have u just stolen NASAs super coputer?
I record it in slow motion then edit it to realtime speed.

I hope now that multi core amd cpu's hit the market with amd zen 3000 chips that this game will evolve further,since the technology is catching up to this heavy game,let's hope someday every game will have realistic physics model,it's the future and i have been waiting for more games like this since the first red faction(with it's destructable environments)came out in the 90's so thats a long wait for a decent game feature that would change the entire way we play games,if a tripple A game like forza would have this damage model there would be much more respect among online racing series,people would actually race instead of ram each other to get in front,then you can fully utilize your driving skills,and if mistakes happen it would be fun to see the amount of damage on a 100000+ credit car,i only wish it would include manual vehicle repair like in car mechanic or junk yard simulator.Oh well wishfull thinking doesn't hurt from time to time.Love your beam ng content btw,like your crash hard map and video's keep up the good work.I was active as a beam ng modder last year under audi4141,i made the last barstow and last burnside mod,i believe you once did a time attack comparison with the barstow last v8 in the early stages of the mod.I could send you some test projects of mine like i recently started on the mad max interceptor based on the real car,the base car it also a mod by another creator,you also did a video with that car it's the ford falcon XB GT.if you contact me on my audi4141 steam profile or beam ng forum profile(note that i'm not that active on beam ng forums alot anymore) i could send you the zip file if you like to play around with it,it will probably not get released anyways.I also have a bluebuck test mod with coupe,topless and nova body styles.Nice to hear from you btw.👍👍👍
