That through ball by Gordon to Wilson at 8:33 was world class. I've watched it several times now and it just gets better everytime.
Right. That kind of pass is what Isak needs. Many of his goals are from similar passes
Thing with Wilson he needs 5/6 chances before he scores, there's been loads of games where he would've had a hat trick but hasn't even hit the target, I honest thought he was going to miss his goal, and the through ball by Gordon that was easy to score than his goal, I think Wilson's a championship striker with premier league wages.
It was a great ball. The tackle was perfect though.

Defo Missed Bruno..... he is a beast controlling the midfield! Was clear to see Newcastle were lost without him! As much as I hate to say it, but Gordon was pretty decent when he came on! One touch football, finding passes, etc! 4th in the Prem in Feb, 5 places above Liverpool..... I will take that!!!! ;) Up the Toon!!!

@@MultiJd4 When Gordon played for Everton, I thought he had potential, but I also though he was too rough/dirty player! I didn't want to sign him as a Newcastle supporter! I was pleasantly surprised at his potential though when he came on! I guess playing for a bigger team, with better players around him, showed his true skills!! Eddie Howe is a genius after all!!!!

@@judebrowne7245 Why would Newcastle regret anything? They are currently in the top 8 which by any Newcastle supporter would have been amazing this time last year! Plus the fact that Newcastle haven't spent any major money yet! also, Newcastle have only lost 1 game all season, the best in the Premier league! We won't worry about draws, we would worry about losses!!! PLUS, we have made it to the final of the Cup! Nothing to be ashamed of, no matter what!!!! 😁😁

Maxi doesn't seem to understand his role under Howe and looked lost for his entire 60 minutes. Sorry to say it but he could be finished in Black and White.

It's scary how much goes through him and how little Eddie Howe seems to realise it. We needed a James Maddison in the window and we got a winger. I trust Eddie Howe though so maybe he's got a plan!

Personally we're all excited by the progress NUFC have made since last season. Of course there'll be disappointments should we miss out on UCL next season but 4 powerful signings should keep the focus right on. Gordon should've been brought on much sooner than 69mins Willock was shocking he kept losing the ball and getting tackled far to easy (like a clumsy teenager). I have no idea how he's starting most games.
Gordon would've made something happen if he'd have green brought on at half time, or at least the 55 min mark.
Yet again it felt like a loss, draws don't win nothing and it allows other teams to catch up.
Don't really agree about Willock, I think he is exceptional at getting us up the pitch. Personally feel Miggy has dropped off it a bit lately. Gordon has to start for though, looked so sharp and would love to see Isak upfront too.
Can't really knock the lads though, unbeaten yet again and just got us in to a final 😀 lets be positive.

Terrible getting paid all that cash and can't pass a ball 5 yards we didn't even get a corner til late on that's how bad we was in attack.
@@PrivateEye121 Well you said you don't know how he is starting most games so i was pointing out what he has done for us all season. Had an off day but so did majority of the team. We definitely need to do better up top but i feel once Isak starts getting a run from the start and Bruno is back, along with Gordon we will be sound.

We had the same patch at the beginning of the season, one win, 5 draws and one defeat in our first 7 games, hopefully we can return to the winning ways again

I think Eddie game style is like a chess game.He need all players to stick to his plan closely.Maxi might not have the energy to follow the plan throughout the game.I see that he is trying to trackback,finding the right passes.But the chemistry with the players are no longer there so it will make his passing look like stray passes.But as a lifelong newcastle fan,i thanked him for trying to adapt to the game.I hope there is good outcome for both parties at the end of the season.
