I saw both N80991 and Chelsea’s 150 last week. Both are “sick”!!! I’ve never seen a 172 and a 150 in better condition. It shows you two take care of your birds. Thank you for sharing!!

Saw Chelsea’s 150 at the AOPA tent while the two of you were actually standing there. As I said to you then, I think that could be the sharpest looking 150 I’ve ever seen. The colours are absolutely perfect! Nice job!

That was awesome! The Fisk controller, Bravo Kilo, is a regular guest on the Opposing Bases podcast. Which is a big recommend. Also the paint job on Chelsea‘s 150 is quite possibly the prettiest I’ve ever seen.
Chelsea’s landing was so good I couldn’t tell when she touched down.
“Rock your Wings” and “Welcome to Oshkosh” elicit some very strong emotions in me as well.
Perhaps my favorite ATC / Pilot exchange I heard this year was:
ATC: “Cirrus over the Highway, clear to land 36 Left, on or after the purple dot, welcome to Oshkosh!”
Cirrus Pilot: “Thank-you! I’ve been waiting all year to hear that!”
ATC: “I’ve been waiting all year to say it!”

First time going to OSH and first time flying there. Amazing. It was great being able to say hello to you and your dad in person when you were unloading 991 after arrival. You looked busy so I didn't want to bother you with more. Thank you for what you do!

Glad we got to see the plane in person early Monday at Airventure. I have surpressed my desire to buy a plane because I have a very nice flying club to rent from with brand new planes, however, being a 30+ year mechanic/pilot and seeing the 150 in person, that bug to find a solid airplane to restore has bitten, and the struggle to not rush out to buy a plane is real. Someday I will have one in my hanger and it will be a year or two restoration project that will be flown to Airventure to show off. It probably won't get front row parking but I'll do my best to brag a little ;-)
Oshkosh has been on my bucket list forever. One day when i get my ppl ill hopefully get there but for now watching you fly there is a blessing. Keep up the great videos. Fly safely and its like ive been told by a pilot "Remember your 3 d's, Dont do anything dumb, different, or dangerous,"

That 150 might be the prettiest 150 I’ve ever seen. That blue paint scheme looks so good! I have a big soft spot for 150s and 152s. Did my checkride in a 152 in January of this year. Wish I could be at Oshkosh this year, but I’ll be going one of these days!
The pilot of the 1966 Cessna 150 did a nice job, single pilot ops. A good aviator.

I see Stevie T.'s 140 has the wheel fairings on her plane this year, you can see her plane at the 13:28 min. mark parked in front of the Garmin display. I wish I was there for the show. Maybe next time!

I think I've watched about 95% of your videos. Don't believe I've ever commented until now. I am not a pilot(some day), just love planes and flying. This has to be one of my favorite videos you have put out. All of your guys' excitement and pride was palatable, and I for some reason almost felt i was there with you. Hey Josh, I watch your channel from down under,I got my ppl in and flew way back in the 80's, I probably will never make it to oshkosh. But I'm happy to fly in with you vicariously, I really enjoy your channel and wish you and Chels all the best. PS: both planes look great.

I have to admit being a little concerned about single-pilot into OSH (for *anyone*, even the best of us) , but you solved that problem pretty well... having Chels trail you and monitor Fingers effectively gave her an extra voice in the cockpit and someone to follow, which in VFR is almost as good as full-glass, especially with the controllers saying eyes-out...
And the 150 looks GORGEOUS. Very classy. (and I *WANT* some of those LIGHTS... :) )
The lights are wicked 😂 We seemed to manage the arrival pretty well, and it definitely did help that we all kept in touch on the air-to-air freq, effectively putting us all in the same cockpit. It really helps to be able to change plans if needed and be all on the same page instantly. I could do without the peripheral chatter, though!
While I understand the utility, I don't think it's wise to post a video breaking federal law. No doubt people flying around get away with pirate radio activities, but if you are a business profiting from your documenting your activities, then you may not get such grace. Honestly, it bothers me because it shows a lack of respect. You can argue that nobody was harmed, but it's a slippery slope to argue when a lot of aviation is an honor system.
Chelsea did so well. I've flown in a half dozen times in the last 26yrs.
I always love watching my favorite CZcamsrs do the Fisk arrival. And especially yours. You explain everything in such a way that makes so mush sense. Thank you.
I really appreciate that. There were a lot of little things I wanted to explain via voiceover, but I thought it best to just show the flight. Later on I'll do a "retrospect" video about this flight.
