Same... I recently got into fragrances and all the scents I like are the expensive ones 🤣 Like, Chanel Tendre Parfum, Delina, Rolling in Love Kilian, Si Fiori, Creed Aventus for Her, Twilly Hermes and Baccarat Rouge 540.
I've had strangers asking me what I use and when I tell them they say it's more for 25 years old+ 😒 almost 20 and I don't think it's out of my league.
I was addicted to Donna at first sniff👃& it has become a fav out of my collection. The first time I wore it I had a scarf wrapped around my neck & when I took it off I didn't wear it again til a week later and the scent was still very prominent. I kept sniffing my scarf like I was in a gain commercial ☺️🥰
I got a decant of this in a sephora set and I fell in love with it so I ended up getting a full size. It's totally crowd pleasing and I love that!

Valentino Donna Born in Roma is definitely worth the hype. It is such a pretty fragrance. I don't typically buy a fragrance more than once, but that is one of the few exceptions I will make.

I wear this to work just about everyday. It makes me pretty happy whenever I smell it while working, especially since it doesn’t stand out like crazy, but it gives me enough spice/excitement to get me through the day lol. I thought of it as pretty generic, but you’re right, it grows on you and is addictive. I think the base notes give off something seductive, but it’s close to my skin so not enough to be noticeable, but I love that dry down

I enjoy it but I wasn’t omg about it, but it’s been sitting for a few months now and the scent has changed a bit, in a good way. I understand why it’s so well liked, the vanilla in it is delicious and it’s an easy reach

I def agree this is a crowd pleasing scent and safe buy! I love it so much and totally agree with it having the same DNA as alot of popular designer perfumes. I get compliments on this one for sure! I'll have to try gucci flora gorgeous gardenia since you said you like it better than the valentino one 🙈
Gucci Flora smells really great! I can't explain it, but the scent is warm and has depth. It's like a sexy but sweet garden in the sunset.. It's captivating and you will find yourself going it for another sniff xD
Your video was spot on for this perfume imo 👌🏽 I picked up the travel size of Born in Roma last yr and I've been dying to get my hands on the 100ml bottle because I see it being my signature scent 🤞🏽 I am also a fan of the others you mentioned that have a similar DNA to it except Armani's My Way as I haven't tried that one yet.

Completely agree with you! Not unique, but it’s still very pretty and wearable. I bought the travel size when all the girls were giving this clout in the beginning and I still reach for it every now and again when I need something safe!
This is probably the best perfume I’ve used! I have the travel size and a little goes a long way, and this lasts for hours too! I love how this has bourbon vanilla in it, and that it’s fruity and floral

Just picked this up a few days ago and I keep reaching for it! It's such a yummy scent. The vanilla pushes through for me and I used to not like vanilla because I felt it always smelled artificial but I'm slowly turning the corner to loving it when it's done right. My only complaint is that the throw is not as much as I was hoping for.
Love it and has been in my collection for a few years now. Just recently pick up the new release for born in Roma yellow. Lovely scent had to leave with it at first sniff. You should try that as well.
Got a sample from Sephora and had to have it in a full bottle. It’s definitely a new favorite of mine.

I get sweet berries and musk mostly on this perfume. On me, it turns to something like Burberry Her plus a lot of musk. It def stays long my clothes. I love it!
You're lucky. If you can get a combo of Burberry Her plus a Musk combo, it's a beautiful combo & you're blessed, indeed. 👍

It definitely reminds me of flower bomb but more peppery!
It's really REALLY pretty. However, it took me a few weeks to really like it the way it deserves, because at first, it was so different than the Egyptian type musks I wear (also Burberry woman), that I balked at it at first. Now, I LOVE it!!!! 😍 If you don't like it at first, give it a few weeks and you may be addicted like the rest of us! 💖

I love Donna Born in Roma. It's such an easy reach.
I almost ordered this online as a blind buy, but I have a hard time wearing fragrances with black currant so I opted to smell it first at Ulta. The first note I picked up on was the black currant…It was beautiful, but my nose and stomach cannot handle prominent black currant scents. For some reason it makes me nauseous (don’t know why).
Meanwhile, while I was at Ulta, I also smelled Gucci Gorgeous Gardenia and it was love at first sniff. Just gorgeous!!!! Some say it smells like Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy and I get the similarities, but Gucci GG is so much more complex and has a beautiful floral dry down (unlike Viva La Juicy - which dries down to sugar and caramel).

I love this fragrance. Im not a reviewer or a collector. I've never smelled other perfumes that smell like it to me where I live. It smells pretty, it lasts long enough, its not overpowering and its easy and pleasant to wear.

Its a recent buy for me and I must say that I think its worth the hype! I think its mass appealing and I really couldnt see how one would think it smells “bad”. I love it and should have gotten a bigger bottle. You hit the nail on the head, its def not unique but Its sooooooo good ya”ll!!!! Sooooooooo worth it! WORTH THE HYPE!

Yes Valentino Donna, I love it. I discovered it last year and I always reach for it. It works well with my body chemistry. It’s a keeper for me. Will you review Chloe. I love Chloe. Your reviews are very in depth so I’d love to hear your take. You’ve made me realize why I enjoy certain fragrances. I lean toward gourmand. I’ve found that recently I’m loving Her by Narciso Rodriquez (black bottle) Good Girl and they smell very similar with subtle differences. Another everyday favorite for me is Tocca Cleopatra. Also why do some fragrances make me sneeze and others don’t? Chloe makes me sneeze but I love it and wear it anyway.

Love love love Born in Roma. It is a safe girly perfume. To me it's in the same family as My Way and Labelle but still need it in my collection😍
You hit the nail on the head. It does remind me a bit of My Way but I still bought lol I love it so much!
To me it's much spicier and woody than My Way. Also My Way is much juicier and fruitier to me.

Very similar to Armani Si to me but that tea mid and bourbon vanilla dry down makes it better than other designer perfumes. On my skin the vanilla really comes out in the dry down. Just perfect for Fall/Spring when it’s still a little cool outside. And I actually can’t overspray with Donna because it is heavy for me, but the light spritz I do lasts me for my whole work day.

I do like it. I always get so many samples of it whenever I make a purchase of perfume. But in this world where everyone is an over consumer, I’m kind of at that point in my collection where in order for me to buy it it really needs to be something special. A woman does not need 40 bottles of perfume. It is a cute one though. I will probably get it after I go through a couple bottles of other stuff. If I can be disciplined and wait

I bought this fragrance in 2019, loved it and wore it everyday. Then covid happened in 2020 and the scent changed to my nose. I couldn’t stand and I sold it. I wish I hadn’t. i might repurchase one day.
Just bought this perfume. I wore it for the 1st time to a wedding. I loved the smell & the scent lingered on my clothes all night & next day. Very juicy deep smell.

I bought this recently. Its a great scent but I ultimately returned it. I felt the same way. The scent is not unique and I felt like I had other scents in my collection similar to it. I also have the Giorgio Armani My Way
What other perfumes is it similar to?
@@hodansaciid8706 Its definitely not a dupe for Giorgio Armani's My Way or YSL Libre Intense. But it smells similar to them, like they have the same DNA. I just didn't think the scent was unique and I'm surprised by the hype. If you don't have YSL or My Way, i'll say go for it.
Donna Born in Roma Yellow Dream is actually really nice and a bit more unique imo….
This perfume reminds me of Bonbon by Victor and rolf which i have, but I still have to have this one.
This perfume smells similar to Marc Jacobs Decadence perfume, both are my most complimented perfumes.
DBIR IS on of my favorite fragrance. But i don't think you have the same DNA of flowerbomb or Si Armani at all. I don't like Si and i hate flowerbomb....but i found a similarity with Voce Viva.
It's not very unique for sure but it's the type of fragrance i use the most for work, for shopping, for every day.
When I first spray this one I get Si Passione but the dry down is completely different. My nose is sensitive to black currant.
I have a big collection of 100+ . I wear this perfume more then anything lol. I have a 1.5 oz bottle and need to buy the big one for when I run out

On my 3rd bottle!! Love it, wish the longevity was a bit better on my skin. Still worth it though.
