You realise even inmates are treated better than this? Even if they break rules they're not denied food or basic items like bedsheets. Look it’s really not difficult to raise kids that aren’t assholes. My kids are 23, 22, 20 & 20 (twins) so I had 4 around 16 plus their friends. Just some friendly advice for any parent, you kids are individual human beings not your property and you’re not their dictator. Once your kids hit a certain age (it varies from kid to kid) it’s crucial that you listen to them, respect their feelings & opinions and also give them reasonable freedoms. It’s also important to keep them involved in activities because boredom leads to trouble. If you’ve raised them to respect you, your rules, their consequences and boundaries you’d be surprised how easy things can be. If you’re too strict they end up rebelling or too soft they’ll walk all over you. I see it go badly in parents that are older when they have kids. I’m 40, I have a great relationship with my kids and I had their respect when they were teens. I can almost guarantee these two are acting out as a cry for help. Because they don’t have open communication with mom and dad the kids don’t know how to talk to them.
